from the website: The Raven in kwakwaka'wakw  legends it is seldom expressly stated that the chief among the myth people and it's name is "water for the earth". He obtains daylight and fresh water, makes rivers and fills them with fish, in one legend it says he married a dead salmon twin in order to obtain salmon.

There is one raven dance among the kwakwaka'wakw people, the hamsmala., the Raven-Of-The- North-End-Of-The-World. They were said to be the eating servants of baxwbakwalanuksiwe in the Hamatsa (cannibal) ceremony. , baxwbakwalanuksiwe is the Man-Eater-Of-The-North-End-Of-The-World.
