He’d probably be more hesitant to do that, especially if it was a recent development and occurred after Caleb’s death. He wouldn’t want to make Grimwalkers of two people he cares about. After all, how many times could he take such betrayal. More likely, Philip would try to re-educate and isolate his s/o in order to gaslight (gatekeep, genocide) them into agreeing with his beliefs on witches.
