PRIDE MONTH PROMPTS DAY 6: TWO DADS

I don't write a lot of M/M in the dcla fandom. So I decided, for fun, to write it.

This is a ship I have never written about before but. Why not <3

”Papa!!”

Simón groaned, turning around.

”Papa!!” 

”Can you take it?” Simón mumbled.

”Yeah, I got it,” Gastón replied.

He slowly walked to their daughter’s room. He mentally prepared himself for anything. Maybe she wet the bed. Maybe she threw up. Maybe she had a nightmare.

”I’m here, honey. What’s wrong?”

He turned on the light.

Her bed was clean. There was no vomit on the floor. And she looked… happy.

”Nothing is wrong!” the 4 year old replied. ”I wanted to tell you about my dream!”

”Could you tell me when it’s not 5:30 in the morning?”

”No! Because I will forget it! And I can’t fall back asleep now!”

Gastón leaned against the door and listened to his daughter ramble about her exciting dream.

In these moments, she really reminded him of Luna. 

When Simón and Gastón had decided they wanted kids, Luna was the first person they asked if she possibly could be a surrogate. Luna happily accepted.

And so now they had a mini-Luna in their house. Luna was also her middle name. Her first name was Stephanie. Stephanie Luna Perida-Álvarez. Simón picked the first name and he claims it’s not after the main character of Lazytown, but Gastón has never been quite sure. 

As Stephanie was yapping, their 1 year old daughter suddenly started crying. Her crib was still in the dads’ room, as it was the most convenient. Her surrogate wasn’t Luna - it was Yam. Why she out of everyone was chosen was mostly because she had already been pregnant with her own daughter, and she had read somewhere that ”giving birth the second time is easier”. Well, she was right, because their second daughter was born just within an hour. Gastón and Simón barely made it to the hospital.

Her name was Nova Yamila Perida-Álvarez and she got 90% of Gastón’s genes, but had inherited her surrogate’s judgmental gaze. 

As Simón was in the room, he quickly got up, all dizzy, and went up to her crib.

”Alright, little supernova… I’m here…”

He picked her up and instantly went to change her diaper at a makeshift changing table he had put up at the bedroom desk because he didn’t want to go into the bathroom when he was tired. He didn’t even check if Nova needed a change, nor if that was the reason she was crying. He just did it automatically, just in case. 

Nova still whimpered a bit. Simón bounced her in his tired daze and then kissed her on the cheek. ”Ok, come on. You’re sleeping in the big bed with dad.”

Then he went back to bed and fell asleep instantly, embracing his daughter. She didn’t fall back asleep, but she did calm down. She just stared at the ceiling as she listened to Simón’s breaths. 

As Gastón came back, he chuckled at the sight.

“Dad’s holding you captive?”

He tried to take Nova away from Simón’s clutches, but that only made Simón groan.

“No… someone’s kidnapping my baby…”

“I think she’s woken up for the day,” Gastón said, cuddling Nova in his lap. “I’m gonna get her some breakfast.”

Suddenly, Stephanie ran into the room. “Is everyone awake?!”

“I need to sleep…” Simón said.

“But the sun’s awake… so I’m awake!” Stephanie said dramatically and laid herself on top of him.

“Gastón, why did we let her watch Frozen?”

Stephanie lit up. “Can I watch Frozen?”

“Yes, you can,” Gastón said, “I’ll get you breakfast and you can eat in front of the TV.”

Gastón put Nova in her highchair and gave her some yoghurt. Then he served Stephanie a sandwich and chocolate milk in front of the TV.

Simón came up a while later. He hugged Gastón from behind.

“Mmm… I couldn’t get back to sleep.”

Gastón chuckled. “Alright, sleepyface. I can make you breakfast too.”

“You’re the best.”

Nova was covered in yoghurt. Simón chuckled and grabbed a towel.

“Ay, little supernova. Are you done with breakfast?”

He wiped her clean and then brought her with him to the living room. Stephanie was completely mesmerized with the movie.

“We really ought to show you some other films. How would you like to watch Totoro instead?”

“No!” Stephanie replied.

“If you want to see a Disney film, how about Sleeping Beauty? Or Encanto?”

“Noo! Frozen!”

Simón sighed. At least he could have some fun singing along to the songs.

However, the second he started singing a line from Love is an open door, Stephanie turned around.

“No! Stop singing!”

Simón replied by singing louder.

“No, no! Turn off!”

“You want me to turn off the movie?”

“Yes!”

Simón laughed. “Want me to put on another movie?”

“Yes.”

“Can I pick the movie?”

Stephanie nodded.

Simón looked at her pleased. “Alright. I need to show you better Disney films.”

He put on Encanto and then plopped down on the couch, still having Nova in his lap.

“Breakfast is served!” Gastón exclaimed. “Oh, you’re watching Encanto?”

“Yep! I finally got her to switch films! But it’s best we don’t sing along to the songs, or we’ll ruin it!”

Gastón sat down next to them. Stephanie was completely hypnotized by the movie.

The dads ate their breakfast, watching with her. Nova didn’t watch a lot, as she fell asleep again in Simón’s arms.

Simón placed a kiss on her forehead. “I love early mornings. It’s so cozy.”

Gastón leaned in and kissed him on the mouth. “And I love you.”

In an alternate universe, Gastón and Simón got together and had kids. Cause why not! :D

AFTER A LONG TIME, THERE ARE GASMÓN CRUMBS ON SL4, I FUCKING WIN

WHEN I NOTICED THIS, I WENT CRAZY, I WAS SUPER HAPPY. It reminded me of some scenes from season 2 and the posts about those two I made on the blog.

I love that every other Gasmón random moment they are sitting or standing on par with the other.

I love the fact that Gastón tried to correct Simón after he read the wrong phrases. You can see in the second pic that he tried to point that by raising a little his band. He deffinitely is helping Simón practicing for the performance, and I love this fact more by knowing that Gastón just arrived like hours ago

This is a Little recording I took because I cannot really describe the scene by only a picture so

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THEIR GLANCES? Like, doesn’t matter the season, they will always look at each other

Also, although the clip doesn’t have audio, there’s a little (and only) verbal interaction during their short practice. My godness…. I love this ship so much help

I was curious about a certain scene from Soy Luna (episode 25, season 1) and shit D:

Well in Summary, the scene I was looking for is about another fight of Matteo and Simón, because Simón arrived late to the…. Idk how to say it on english so I will say ensayo

But, I only looked for it because of….

WHY IS GASTÓN GIVING THAT SIGHT TO SIMÓN? HAHAHA

STOP IT D: (IGNORE MATTEO’S FACE PLEASE, I KNOW HE IS DUMB)

This is so… idk hahaha but geez

We have two options: beef (100% probable) or romance (0% probable but I choose this)

While I was watching this moment, I was like:

You hate him or you love him Gas? Decide

There were more moments like this (worse than bad sights), but I COULDN’T WATCH IT CAUSE IT MAKE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE FOR SOME REASON
