Hi there! Definitely one of the worst people when it comes to gifts and especially when I really don't know the person. Sorry you got stuck with me! I tried my best, I swear. And about the sweater, I don't know if you ever liked that show but incase you don't like it-- the receipt is in there so you can trade it in for something else. Happy Holidays, Daphne.
The gift is honestly a tad haphazardly wrapped as little indicators like ripped paper, an abundance of crinkles, and tape in places that didn't make sense seemed to show. Instead of showing a normal "From" address, the messy, loopy handwriting simply stated "Your Secret Santa". Once unwrapped and the box underneath the paper was opened (tape had nearly sealed the thing shut), it revealed a small delicate flower crown made from white Poinsettias. Upon further inspection, there was a couple of exposure wires and globs of dried hot glue, but otherwise it was actually kind of pretty. On the bottom of the box was a small note, not folded up, addressed to Gigi:
Hi, hello! Surprise, because I am your Secret Santa this year. You might be wondering why I picked a flower crown of all things, but I've always thought you were beautiful and one of those people who are just... down-to-earth, y'know? Like you seem extremely grounded and in tune with who you are. I don't know if it makes actually sense why I chose to make this for you (I hope you don't mind that I crafted it; I know that you're technically supposed to spend money on these gifts, but). Usually poinsettias are red and the flower of the season, but I went with white for certain reasons. I really hope that you like it and if not, please let me know and maybe I can get you something different because I really don't mind at all! This present was a bit of a shot in the dark, y'know? Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with joy, Gigi. x ♥, ☮, and ☺, Gretch
