The daiyokai was simply wandering, no set destination. She liked to surround herself in the forests, the quiet soothing her. However, the more she explored, a scent came to her and she couldn’t help but smile. A wolf.
Setting course for the stranger, Akuma hummed softly to herself. Getting closer, her smile never left her lips. “Oh Wolf~” She sang out, laughing softly to herself. “Where oh where can you be?”

Late-night grocery shopping was never very enjoyable for the young woman. Often times she’d just drag the plastic bags as she went back home. If only she had more time to go out during the day instead. Things would be much easier, she figured.
As she was heading home one night, she heard something like a cry or shout in the distance. Sure, it seemed to be from afar, but she definitely didn’t want to take any chances. She picked up her pace, praying she would be safe from whatever was happening.
(All the more reason to not go out at night, apparently!)
