listening to neko case, drinking coffee, drawing a little. i caught another cold (or relapsed? can that happen?) and my cough is back and i’m tired as hell. i slept for almost 10 hours last night! my sister and her family all have the flu, and i spent last saturday with them. i already had the flu, so i didn’t catch theirs, but i don’t feel great. something is up.

also, my appetite is so strange lately. i’m never hungry, nothing sounds good, and i wish there was a “generic food bar” that provided nutrition and i could eat instead of trying to find something palatable. i used to be hungry ALL THE TIME, which i think now maybe was a side effect of the paxil. (i was just never full.) it’s so weird to have to force myself to eat. 

i have been spending some money too, oops. i picked up this amazing sweatshirt from gatosaurio (Inés Estrada) because it’s FUCKING PERFECT and i’m so excited about wearing every day. even thought i’m probably too old for it, i also ordered myself some black tattoo ink and needles today. i’ve been wanting to stick and poke myself for years and you know what? fuck it, i’m going to do it. part of the reason i want to stick and poke is because a) it looks fun b) i’d like to give myself a teeny finger tattoo, and i know that they fade and i want to be able to touch it up myself. 39 isn’t that terribly old to start doodling on my body.
