Gauls on Discooooord

The Gaulchat community discord server just went through a lengthy facelift! List of changes: -Reorganization of categories for easier navigation -Moved francophone channel closer to top -Established gaulpol-101 and arts-culture-blogs forum channels for simple topic navigation. -Re-introduced a single history channel. -Re-introduced Archivist role to view contents of retired channels. -Introduced regional chats & subchats for localization + formation of local Gaulish groups -Renamed Senobessus Segomari simply "Senobessus", while Segomaros established it, it doesn't belong to anyone and remains an amazing basic framework for Gaulpols, both beginner and established. -Rewrote the read-first server guide to reflect changes and be more inclusive of those less familiar with Discord https://discord.gg/Qs7kfQKE Join it if you want, or don’t. So the other day we had the first Gaulish Polytheism video chat “Gaulchat” and I’m pretty glad on how it went. Much of it was me rambling but we managed to get some pretty good ideas out there.

Things we talked about were:

-Podcasts (Video or Voice only)

-More organized mass rituals like we did for Alberta

-The current Skype chatroom

-Retiring FreeCernunnos

-Having a ‘Gaulchat’ blog where we can advertise more Gaulchats as well as it containing some master posts for learning and resources

-Building said things for learning and resources

-The potential of Modern Gaulish study sessions (I’d like to have someone who knows it well enough to hold them, but so far I haven’t found anyone)

And of course future topics for Gaulchats like:

-Crash courses on the Dewoi

-Gaulish rituals (ancient & ways to do modern ones)

-What is a ‘Modern Gaul’?

-Holidays

If you’re interested in helping our in whichever way or you have something to add let me know, I’m hoping to do Gaulchats once a month and to have a bigger turn out next time!
