Greetings! I hope, and wish, yes, I am making a wish for myself, that you will feel the urge to come up with something funny and amazing by the 10th anniversary of the Hearts of Stone) which is in a month))) to know, that bald guy with a flower crown craves for attention)))
Hey!
My life schedule and job workload have been kicking my ass for the past several months, but I'm hoping that my work schedule will clear up enough to allow me more time to revisit this blog fairly soon.
I actually have a massive backlog of WIPs and ideas, it's mostly finding the time to pick one at a time and churn them out that's the tricky part.
Regardless, I really appreciate that there are people out there who are still interested in my art despite the sporadic and infrequent posting schedule.
I've been missing this blog a lot, and hope to come back in the not-so-distant future!
"Gaunter sits unmoving across the fire, his posture still and poised. His glowing eyes fixed on Geralt, following every movement with unrelenting precision. He seems carved from the night itself, his stillness unnervingly complete, yet his presence feels impossibly large. Waiting. Watching."
Would you invite the darkness under your blanket?

What's left of fables afterwards?..
Pied Piper O'Dimm and the end of the Land of a Thousand Fables.
Dream of a human life
Oh, I really like this pretty mundane dad/baby photo, similar I have in my family archive... But I was thinking of a real human who may have existed before Gaunter took not only his soul but also his body, and has been wearing it as a mask ever since...
What misfortune drove the poor man to despair, what desire was worth such a price? Could it not have been a selfish desire for ordinary profit and an easy life? Maybe it was a sacrifice for someone truly loved. But not that love, the desire to possess someone that Olgierd had..... More like self-sacrifice. A daughter. Maybe? And perhaps here Gaunter helped without a catch, as the price was paid without a second thought. And the appearance, the mask, the face of that guy is a tribute, if such Master Mirror can feel towards a human being.
Glassmaker's daughter
I'm gonna call you Olgierd, little ruffian😈
Sometimes I really feel that the border between the mirror and the holder blurs. I am holding a mirror for you, and I catch the light, reflect it, absorb it, process it. I am nothing but a glass. Did I ever have anything of my own? I borrowed, stole... So many talents authors and artists, with their different vision of Gaunter O'Dimm. Other beautiful mirrors, some of them so mesmerising that I barely breath not to fog them.
My vision shaped by the influence of others, I laughed at first at the way they saw him, too human, too monster, too sexual or too good old uncle... But the thing is... nothing controversial is here. He is everything. Because he is a Mirror.
I am so shy when it comes to interaction with the people who put pieces of their soul in his portraits. Like... I don't know, if I can pollute... somehow. But when people come to me first to share their interest, most likely it's the prettiest thing, I am so excited, so in love! And here I can overwhelm with my own headcanons, my visions, my playthings. So, don't be shy, come talk to me.
