I am currently taking the Digital Marketing course for my Entertainment Busines Master Program. Before i entered the program I set very clear goals for what I wanted to accomplish.
Goal 1: I will us this class to develop skills for managing my professional businesses online.
After successfully taking a course on Twitter marketing, I learned how to incorporate three tools into my business twitter usage. The first tool was to “pin a tweet”. This tool would help to gain extra engagement on an important tweet. The next tool was to “create twitter lists”. Lynda contributor, Batesole, mentioned that this tool could be used to keep tabs on your competitors (Batesole, 2016). Last but not least, I learned how to use twitter analylitics to track the effects of my company advertising
Goal 2: I will create my very own marketing plan
I am proud to say that I have actually managed to start that marketing plan with a company objective, segment data, as well as KPI and Target goals. By the end of this course, I should have a first draft completed.
Goal 3: I will study other successful marketing campaigns
Dring this course, I studied the marketing #GaveMeSomething marketing campaign/contest administered by singer/songwriter Jess Glynne. She used Instagram, hastags, and website to promote this campaign. Glynne managed to gain enough attention during this campaign to successfully include a handful of her fans in her music video “Gave Me Something”. She used Instagram, hastags, and a website to promote this campaign. to it’s success.
