Erika: I can’t believe you. I saw it all, you know. Gavin: Saw what? I’m here with a work colleague of mine. Who’s watching the girls right now? Erika: The girls are in bed, don’t change the subject. Why are you alone with her? Gavin: Please go back home to the girls, what if something happens while you’re gone? Are you drunk? Erika: Does she know about me? About us? Gavin: I’m calling you a cab. Go home and sleep this off. Erika: Unbelievable, I’ll call my own cab, you can go to hell.

Everyone in the Bateman household dressed up yesterday! Gavin was of course working from home on a holiday since Erika was the one who took the twins out to trick-or-treat!

Gavin: I think you’ve had enough, Erika... Erika: Shut up. I don’t want to hear your bullshit. Gavin: Erika, I don’t understand what’s going on. Have I given you a reason not to trust me? One minute everything is fine, and the next, I see one other female for business and you’re accusing me of horrible things. What did I do? Erika: I heard you talking to her on the phone the other day setting up the meeting. You sounded so... close. And then I realize that, I hardly know a damn thing about you.  Gavin: You do know me, baby... What’s my favorite color? Erika: ... Red... like my hair... Gavin: What’s my favorite kind of food? Erika: ... Vietnamese... Gavin: The list goes on, what are you doubting yourself for? Why do you doubt me? Erika: I... don’t know... I’m so sorry, Gav... *starting to cry* Gavin: Come here... It’s okay, baby... It’s my fault for being so busy at work all the time. Erika: *sobs* I’m so sorry, I don’t know what I was thinking...

Gavin: Good? No, I think I’m very bad. Erika: *laughing* What? What are you talking about? Gavin: *kisses her* I mean, the kids are outside playing, so we should play too. Erika: *laughs harder* Ohhhh... I get it now... Gavin: See? You are smart. Erika: Yeah, and you’re a smartass.

Mariah: Thanks for helping me with my homework, Miss Erika! You’re so smart! Erika: You just needed a hint, Mari, you did the rest with your own brilliant brain. Now why don’t you go play with the neighbor kids? Jo’s already out there. Mariah: Okay! -- Mariah: Hi, daddy! Miss Erika just helped my finish my math homework! I’m going to go play with Jojo now! Gavin: Alright, sweetheart, don’t go far, okay? Mariah: I know! I love you! Gavin: I love you too, pumpkin. -- After Mariah leaves- Erika: She did it all herself, you know, I just read the instructions to her. Gavin: She’s a smart girl alright, but it doesn’t make you any less good with the girls. *he kisses her cheek* Erika: You’re the one who’s good to me...

Gavin: What have you been up to these last couple of months, anyways? Raina: You know I can’t discuss the details of that with you, Gavin. Gavin: Right, right, top secret government stuff that I can’t know about, but still aide in the behind the scenes part of it when you guys need something to keep your stuff top secret. Raina: *chuckles* Was the food salty, or is it just you? Gavin: *laughing* I’m just joking, Raina, you know I trust you. Raina: *sighs* I know you do.  Gavin: *getting up* Now come on, let’s go do some karaoke, I reserved a room for us. Raina: Oh dear god what did I do to deserve this.
