79 "You're hot, shame about personality" with Gavin and male!reader please?
“My glass is empty,” Gavin shoved his glass towards you.
You shook your head and called for two more drinks. You turned towards Gavin as you waited. He gave you an innocent look before you spoke, “You know, you’re hot, shame about the personality.”
“Hey!” he made a face, “You’re no boyfriend material yourself.”
“Still coming home with me later?” you questioned.
“What else are we doing here?” Gavin grinned and leaned in for a kiss.
“So I know this is your first Christmas in the states but we did want to make you feel a little more at home,” you started by grabbing the box your mom had hidden behind a few things.
You hid it behind your back as you walked back to the table. Your family eyed you but they knew what you had. They were mostly looking at Gavin who was giving you a curious look.
You revealed the box and he gave you an adoring smile, “Aww, Love. I’m just happy to spend today with you and your family. Though I will not turn down opening Christmas crackers ever.”
“What are those?” your grandmother made a grab at the box.
You laughed and opened the box passing her one, “It’s a Christmas cracker. It’s an English tradition and Gavin’s family always does it when I come over. Each person can get one or the way we do it is each person takes an end,” you demonstrated getting your boyfriend to take the other end, “And you pull.” The two of you pulled and a loud pop happened and you held up your ends to each other. “And since he has the larger half he gets the goodies inside including the honor of reading the dumb joke inside.”
You pulled out a green paper crown and set it on his head as Gavin read, “How does Christmas Day end?” As your family gave him blank looks he groaned and read, “With the letter Y.”
“Oh, that one was bad,” you snorted before passing around the box for the rest of your family.
“Here you go, Darling,” Gavin passed you his chocolates before he started to play with his top that came out of the cracker.
You nudged him softly, “Hey, you won. You get the treats.”
Gavin kissed your cheek as the top fell, “You are my treat.”
“Okay, you cheeseball,” you told him as you wrapped an arm around his and leaned against him as you watched your family enjoy the new tradition. Gavin seemed happy with his small toy.
“I think that’s the last of them,” your mom said a little dramatically.
You rolled your eyes, “It’s okay we can get more next year.”
“Actually I think we missed one,” Gavin announced seeming a little more lively as he pulled out a shy cracker that looked a little nicer than the rest.
You looked around nervously and counted. You were sure you had enough for everyone to share. You made a face as you counted a second time.
“Honey, why don’t you and Gavin go a second round,” your father nodded to the extra.
“I want to-” your grandmother started but your mom elbowed her.
“C’mon, Love,” Gavin offered.
You shrugged and took the other end of the cracker, pulling hard and you smiled as you got the larger half. You pulled out a purple crown and placed it on your head proudly.
“What’s the joke say?” your mom asked.
You wanted to look for the toy or candy because the rest seemed empty but you took a moment to pick up the paper and read, “Will you marry me?” Your eyebrow furrowed as you read slower, “Will you-”
Your eyes flew to Gavin and he was down on one knee in front of you, “I know it's not a top or chocolate but I think a ring is a nice change. What do you say?”
“Are you kidding me? Yes of course!” you flew from your seat to tackle him in a hug.
You covered him with kisses as your family cheered.
“I love you,” Gavin told you with his eyes shining.
“I love you too,” you hugged him tightly, during his face in your neck.
Reader and Gavin make a homemade flamethrower and try it out on camera for fun.
“So I know I helped build this but I keep forgetting how to turn it on,” you squeezed the trigger to the flamethrower you had helped Gavin build.
He laughed and stepped from behind the camera and stood behind you, “That’s quite alright, love. Just remember press this first.” He guided your hand to the button. “Then flip this switch and hold on tight.”
You turned your head to look at him, “Then the fire.”
“Then the fire,” he mumbled pressing his lips to yours.
The kiss had been long overdue which made it all the more heated. The only reason you pulled apart was that your finger slipped, hitting the trigger and causing flames to erupt.
As you jumped apart, Gavin rushed back to the camera, “Right! Well, we’ll need to cut that last bit but good job. Let’s see you really light it up.” Though once behind the camera you couldn’t help but notice Gavin paying far more attention to you then the actual footage he was getting.
Barb being impressed with readers accuracy with a crossbow. (Cute)
“What are you doing?” Barbara’s eyes were wide as she caught you and the rest of the Achievement Hunter crew in the parking lot.
“We got a new crossbow. Trevor is letting Y/N pull a William Tell and shoot one of Ryan’s coke cans off his head,” Gavin smiled proudly since it was his idea in the first place.
“Are those real arrows?” Barbara gasped taking a few steps closer, watching as you loaded the bow.
“Don’t worry I’m a professional,” you told her. Letting her guess what that meant. You had years of practice and Trevor knew it.
He trusted you enough to shoot the soda can off his head even if there wasn’t a camera, “Don’t worry, Barbara.” Trevor waved her off and stood tall as you took aim.
Gavin got into position and gave you a thumbs up. You took the shot. Nailing it. Trevor barely flinched as he was doused in the soft drink.
Barbara stood there with her mouth open, “I don’t even know what to say. Is it wrong I’m super attracted to you right now?”

You took a shaky breath looking at the edge of the roof. You felt dizzy just seeing how far away the ground was. You looked back to the door you gained the roof access to and heard loud banging from the security that was trying to get past the broken lock and the brick you had wedged under the door.
You had no escape and you knew it so you turned on coms, “Guys I think this is it. I’m stuck on the roof. It’s been a pleasure to work with you all. Give my share to homeless kittens or something.”
The line was silent for awhile and you were starting to doubt they had even heard you.
“Do you trust me?” Gavin’s voice finally resonated over the line.
“With my life,” you told him honestly. If you were going to put your life in the hands of any of your teammates Gavin was your go to. He had saved your ass on more than one occasion.
“Good. Jump when I say jump,” he instructed.
“From the roof?!” you suddenly screamed.
He chuckled, “Sorry, love but yes.”
You sighed heavily into the coms, “Fine.”
You couldn’t hear him but you knew he was laughing on the other. You climbed up onto the ledge. The door busted open and security spilled out.
“Gavin, come on,” you pleaded.
As if he knew he finally shouted, “Now!”
You shut your eyes and jumped just as bullets flew in tour direction. Something hit you roughly so you opened your eyes to see Gavin, holding you now.
“Hold on tight,” he instructed, reaching for the cord of his parachute.
You trapped him tightly as you could as he ripped the cord and suddenly you were floating instead of falling.
“Thanks for dropping in,” you joked.
Gavin rolled his eyes but chuckled, “For you, anything.”
You looked out over the city as you floated down to a secure location. You missed Gavin ignoring the view and just watching your wonderment.
As he landed, your feet finally found the ground and you stumbled. At first, you thought it was just you regaining your balance but then you realized something was off.
“Gavin,” you reached out for him but stumbled backward.
Gavin ran forward, catching you. He fell to his knees with you in his arms. He pulled his hand from your back, it was covered in slick dark red blood. Your blood.
“Huh. How’d we miss that?” you realized not all of the bullets from the security guards had missed you. “Guess the adrenaline. I didn’t even feel it.”
Your body was starting to get heavy and you knew it was already too late.
You smiled up at Gavin though, “There are worse ways of dying.”
“No. No! You’re not dying!” Gavin commanded but his eyes were welling with tears, telling you otherwise. “I haven’t gotten to tell you how I feel yet.”
“I’ve got a few minutes,” you reached up to brush a few hairs from his face. You’re heart was going into overdrive. You weren’t sure if it was from the fear or anticipation of what Gavin had to say.
He looked down at you, the pain could be read on his face. You could practically hear his heartbreaking. He could have called for help but both of you knew everyone was too far away. The closest hospital was miles away. Gavin wasn’t going to ruin his last chance with you by entertaining the idea of false hope. He had already lost so much time with you.
Gavin opted to lean down and press a kiss to your lips. Your heart raced. You kissed him back weakly.
“This isn’t fair,” he finally broke crying as he could see you fading.
“Life isn’t fair. That’s why we kick its ass daily,” you tried to keep your last moments light.
“I love you,” Gavin admitted.
You coughed, blood was filling your lungs. You managed one last breath, trying to let him know you felt the same but the words were lost and your wold faded to black.
“Is he pure?” you asked circling the table slowly. You paused at one of the ropes holding your stripped down victim down. You tugged on it, making sure it was taut and smirking as the man laid out on the table let out a whimper.
“Well, he’s been with a few,” another member spoke up.
You shot him a glare and he was instantly quiet, “I meant his heart. If he’s pure at heart we can drain him. If not, well, we’ll do with him as we have all the others.”
Another spoke up, a deeper voice, “Purest heart we could find. Not many this day and age.”
“So true,” you sighed and made your way over to the head of your sacrifice. “Now let’s see who is so lucky to help us out tonight.”
You ripped the bag away and the guy looked around wildly and began struggling. It wasn’t until he looked to you desperately.
“Gavin?” you questioned, confused as to why your boyfriend was here. You pulled the duck tape off his mouth.
“Bloody hell,” he groaned.
“He’s the pure one?” you looked around at the rest of the members of your group.
“If this is some weird sex thing Y/N I really think we should have talked about it first. I mean I’m not really into role-play but if we talked about it I think I could have gotten on board,” he complained. “Also, your friends are really rough and way to into this. They’re not going to watch are they?”
You smiled sweetly and stroked his cheek, “Oh, they are going to watch. I’m sorry, darling. I was hoping for you to become apart of this I just didn’t think it would be in this way.”
“Is- is this an orgy?” he raised an eyebrow.
You shook your head and leaned down to give him one final kiss. As you pulled away you whispered in his ear, “It’s a sacrifice.”
Gavin looked at you frantically and opened his mouth but he didn’t get a chance to say anything. You had already plunged the knife into his stomach. Gavin made a few gurgling noises as he choked on his blood, his eyes slipping closed one last time.
“Just need to stop for condoms then right back to the apartment,” Gavin explained as he parked his car in front of a small gas station.
He unbuckled and leaned over, kissed you roughly. You grabbed his hair, tugging softly, as you deepened the kiss. You nipped at his lip gently. He moaned softly, forcing himself to pull away. You smirked proudly, even in your slightly intoxicated state you knew just how to work a man.
“Jesus,” he took a breath trying to calm down. “We’ll be lucky if we make it back to the penthouse at this rate.” He glanced at the backseat then you then the store, “Be right back.”
He hopped out and you reached into your pocket pulling out your phone to check social media. You glanced up just in time to see the man who you just picked up from the bar shoot the store clerk. You jumped in surprise and dropped your phone. You panicked and reached for the door but it seemed to be locked. You were searching for a way out as he jumped back in the car, smile on his face as he buckled up and sped off.
You were in a frenzy and fearing for your life as you tried to figure a way out without dying. You looked over to the man beside you and it finally hit you. The fancy car, the penthouse, the accent, the sunglasses he was wearing at the bar. You had picked up the infamous Golden Boy.
In the middle of your epiphany, Gavin looked over, “You always this quiet, love?” You just stared at him wide eyed. “Is this about that clerk?” He parked in a garage under a large building. “Look, that was strictly business. He recognized me and he wanted to call the cops. I didn’t want our night ruined.” He unbuckled and leaned over cupping your chin, “Listen to me, I will not hurt you. No one in that penthouse will hurt you and I will not allow any harm to come to you. I promise. If you’d like to go I understand. I will not stop you though you’d be missing out on one hell of a night.”
You were quiet as you were taking in Gavin’s offer. You weren’t sure if you trusted him to just let you go but as you looked into his eyes all you could see was kindness and sincerity. You weren’t sure where you managed the courage but you asked, “Just a night?”
Gavin smiled wickedly, “Well, love that’s all up to you.”
