It feels like forever and a half since I last made an attempt to revive this old blog. I thought I'd be able to come back for good and attempt to balance personal life with RPing. I haven't done a very good job at that. I apologize to anyone who followed me hoping that I'd be more active. I just apologize in general if I've let anyone down. I'm not sure why I feel like I let you down. But I thought you should know. 

It's been almost two years since I first joined Tumblr and tried my hand with role-playing on the Internet. I've come and gone, and come again, only to leave again. I don't think this should be seen as me trying to come back again. I'm really out of touch with RPing this German sausage. Although who knows? Maybe that will change. And if it does, I may just try again as an ask blog, as this blog originally started. If I do ever decide to RP on Tumblr again, it probably won't be on this blog. I might just end up opening a separate blog for that. When that happens, you'll be the first to know. 

This isn't me making an official comeback in any way. I just wanted to say that I'm still here, sort of, and I still care about this blog, and for my followers, mutual or otherwise. I hope everyone's doing well.

Bad jokes aside, it has been a LONG time since I did anything remotely related to RPing or answering questions, and to all my followers, I am so sorry for being so inactive. Real-life tends to get in the way, you see. Not to mention I pretty much lost my muse for Klavier. At some point it wasn't fun anymore. But this blog was always in the back of my mind and I have thought about returning here.

So what does this post mean? It means that I am resuming my mantle as one of the few active Klaviers on Tumblr. I don't know if that's changed over the last few months, but I'd like to resume RPing on a semi-regular basis. But that's not to say there won't be any changes. 

Since the release of Dual Destinies and Klavier's appearance in that game, it does affect how the blog is going to be run from now on, not to mention Klavier's character. When I first opened the blog, it was set approximately two years after AJ, so Klavier was 26. But now I've decided to a total reboot of this blog. Basically everything that's happened before is  pretty much null and I'm starting fresh. New blog (sorta), new Klavier. This blog will now be set before Dual Destinies. That's because I haven't even watched any lp's for the game, so I have no idea what happens. Depending on how quickly I can get through a lp, the timeline for this blog will change to take place sometime either during or after DD.

Will this blog remain an ask blog? Well this blog wouldn't be 'ask-klaviergavin' if I didn't accept questions. If I get questions starting from today, then I will answer those. Questions which have been sent to me and haven't been answered yet won't be answered now or ever. I'm sorry, but I'm basically starting with a clean slate.

That's all I have to say on the matter for the time being. Now...

Dear mod, do you ship Klema? Based on Klavier's letters, I think you might. IT'S MY OTP of any fandom ever, so you'd better say yes.

*ahem* Anyhoo, to answer your question, yes I do ship Klema. It's one of my Ace Attorney OTPs. 

 It's always great to meet a fellow Klema shipper. Isn't it just the greatest?

In celebration of the confirmation of Ace Attorney 5, I'm posting one of my favorite AA videos, and the best I've seen so far.

Gavinmod's Thoughts on GS5 (Part 2)

I don't know a lot of details about the first case, except that the defendant is a high school student and there's something about an explosion, but that's it. To be honest, my theory is that the first case is actually a dream by either Apollo or Phoenix, and really Apollo's the protagonist and not Nick. But that's probably wishful thinking on my part. 'Cause Capcom hates Polly. Blah....

Now before seeing the screenshots, I thought that Apollo would be the protagonist once more and Phoenix would be a supporting character. But now I think Apollo and Phoenix will have to share the spotlight once more, and it's possible that throughout the game, the player will hop between playing Apollo and Phoenix, and that perhaps these two have separate cases happening at the same time. MAYBE! Maybe there are two major plots: one where we see Phoenix re-adjusting to life as a lawyer and him reuniting with his friends. The other could be where we find out more about Apollo's past and we see how he handles the truth of his heritage and Trucy being his half-sister and Thalassa/Lamiroir being his mother. Id also like to see the other characters from AJ, like Klavier and Ema (hell, even Kristoph) come back. I think there's more to the Gavin brothers debacle than was explored in AJ.

Of course, when I heard that the game was released for the 3DS, I instantly thought "Now I have another reason to buy the 3DS!" The first reason was that I wanted to buy Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and I wanna play it SOOOO BAAADDDDLLLYYY! Now I have another game that I wanna play the 3DS SOOOO BAAAADDDDLLLLYYY!

All in all, I'm pretty psyched about GS5 and I can't wait for new details to be released. That doesn't mean I don't have my worries, though. I just hope this game is worth all the hype we (the fans) are giving it.

P.S. This is something I should add in the main text but I can't find the right place to put it in. I honestly hope that the last case will be an epic showdown in the court between Phoenix and Edgeworth. We just need that so very badly.

Gavinmod's Thoughts on GS5 (Part 1)

Welp. 

I'm very excited about getting more details on Capcom's latest AA project. The fact that Phoenix is the protagonist again and has a modified look to boot appeals to me. Capcom hasn't entirely ignored the events of AJ:AA, and the additions to his classic look, like a vest and a pocket watch (you can't see it very clearly in the picture given) are a nod to his maturity since the events in Trials and Tribulations AND Apollo Justice. Though I can't say I'm particularly excited about his little fringe thing. It looks out of place to me. 

But I'm not entirely happy that Phoenix is the protagonist at the same time. I just feel like he's had his time in the spotlight already, and it's as if Capcom is ignoring Apollo, which isn't fair to him, really. While I understand why most people wouldn't like Apollo Justice (the character AND the game), AJ:AA was the first game I played in the series, and while I adore Nick, Polly will always have a special place in my heart. So as one of his fans, I feel gutted that he may not be the main character again. 

Now...the lady in yellow. I've heard a few theories about her, the most popular (and oddest) one being that she's Trucy. I honestly don't believe she could be Trucy. Firstly because it's impossible to have hair that long after one year. And she doesn't all that much like Trucy. And I think that even if Trucy were to become a lawyer or paralegal, the magician inside her would still shine through (she'd at least wear a silk hat, or even her magician's cloak, but that's my opinion). Nah, I think she's a new girl, and I'm not too sure of her, frankly.

But if her sweating sprite tells me anything, she might be like Maya, or even Nick. I even have a theory on what her English name might be: Luna or Selene, 'cause of her crescent moon earring, and the glove on her right hand. Speaking of her glove...I wonder if there's a story behind it. I guess we'll find out once it's been localized.

  There's not much to say about Winston's brother, except that I'm sort of disappointed that Winston  may not be coming back, and that he won't be there in the first case of the game. Me thinks the little Payne won't be able to live up to his older brother's shortcomings. I do like his hair, though. It's not nearly as ridiculous as Winston's hair in Turnabout Memories (T&T) or in Turnabout Trump (AJ), but's it certainly flamboyant enough to tell anyone that he's clearly a Payne. Pun (un)intended.
