So excited!!! Michael got me a new pair of Hoka One One Gaviota 2!! Sorry if I’m going to sound like an infomercial, but whatever, get over it. First off, I had nasty foot pain in the ball of my foot (possibly a minor break after tripping over a mostly buried rock while running in a backyard barefoot) for 2 years. Decided to look into switching my shoes to alleviate it. So while in Hawaii on vacation during the Ironman 2 Octobers ago, my mom turned me on to Hokas. I tried out the Gaviotas and have literally, no BS, have had zero foot pain! I could not recommend Hoka One One more highly. Anywho, I decided to take them for their first spin this evening and ran 2.7 miles and walked an additional .6 miles. Oh and there were pretty hanging baskets around town.
