22nd September 2021 // The Crown Princess couple visited Gävleborg County following the King’s decision for the family to tour all the counties and learn about the impact of the pandemic. During their visit they met with the governor and local health care leaders to get a briefing on the county's challenges and approach to delivering health care remotely, toured the University of Gävle to learn about their research into remote and hybrid working, and visited Wetterlings, Sweden's oldest remaining axe producer
22nd September 2021 // The Crown Princess couple were in great spirits as they arrived for a visit to Gävleborg County following the King’s decision for the family to tour all the counties and learn about the impact of the pandemic.
11th September 2020 // Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Gävleborg on behalf of their joint organisation Generation Pep. The visit began with a roundtable discussion on children and young people's physical health. In the afternoon, the Crown Princess couple visited Rapatac - an organisation which aims to provide a safe and meaningful upbringing for every child - and Fritidsbanken, a free library of sport and leisure items for families which ensures finances are not a barrier to physical health.
