20th December 2025 // The King and Queen and the Crown Princess couple attended the Swedish Academy's annual gathering. The Academy is the highest authority on the Swedish language and chooses the winner of the annual Nobel Prize for Literature.

December 2025 // Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a taping of the show Nobel Minds in the Bernadotte Library at the Royal Palace. The annual show - which has been broadcast since the 1960s - features a roundtable discussion with the Nobel Laureates from that year who discuss major threats and opportunities facing the world.

December 2025 // Stills have been shared from the upcoming edition of the Swedish royal family's annual documentary. Crown Princess Victoria and her children Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar and Rio were shown getting ready for the festive season, preparing meatballs for the feast.

9th December 2025 // King Carl XVI Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria attended a diplomatic reception for foreign ambassadors. Several times a year, these receptions are held for newly appointed envoys to meet with the royal family and representatives from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. This time they met with representatives from Iran, Somalia, Tanzania, Poland, India and Denmark.

8th December 2025 // Prince Daniel attended the closing ceremony of the Prince Daniel's Fellowship's mentoring program where he gave the 2024-25 cohort their certifications of completion. The Fellowship is a project spearheaded by the Prince which aims to support young entrepreneurs.

December 2025 // The Swedish Royal Court released a compilation of photographs taken during the autumn while Crown Princess Victoria was undertaking her officer training with the Swedish Air Force. The training is designed to give the Crown Princess insight into the operational activities of the Air Force, including its history, planning, leadership, and innovation.

6th December 2025 // Crown Princess Victoria inaugurated the light artwork "21.09" in the South Vault at the Royal Palace. The artwork was created by Les Ateliers and is part of Nobel Week Lights – a free light festival being held in connection with the Nobel Prize festivities.

3rd December 2025 // Prince Daniel visited the transplant surgery clinic at Karolinska University Hospital where he participated in a discussion on the impact of organ donation with transplant patient Marcus Söderholm and his mother Therese Söderholm, who donated one of her kidneys to her son. This is a cause close to Daniel's heart as he received a kidney transplanted from his father in 2009; in fact, he was accompanied on this visit by royal doctor Lars Wennberg, who was part of the team who performed Daniel's transplant.
