Chloe frowned, biting the end of her pen again as she fruitlessly come up with a full plan. She knew what she wanted, she knew what she didn’t want but how on earth it could even happen was beyond her. Marinette eats her cooking, learns she made it. Then, somehow, Marinette can’t connect the dots between her realization and Chloe already knowing. Even more difficult, Marinette not telling anyone. Chloe sighed, tossing her pen across the room and staring at her paper with her points written on it.
Minutes passed before Chloe even had a reason to get her pen, which even then was to add another problem to her list. After?, She wrote on the bottom of the page. It was ridiculous to admit but even after all of this secretive work, there was still going to be a confrontation by one of them, Marinette, if the plan worked.
Pot Luck, she wrote on a new paper. It was a good cover. No one wanted the food and giving left over food from a fancy event did seem like a thing that would put her dad in good light. Who would care why chloe is giving this food if the source seemed to be from her dad.
On the right side of the paper, Chloe started to write out every problem she had to make sure this new plan would work. Why is the food there? She immediately crossed it out but if Sabrina taught her anything, which that list seemed to be gone from her memory from some reason, was that a list must have everything from point a to b, just to double check. How does Mari - Chloe bit her lip, forcing herself to keep this official. -nette get her cooking? It needs to be prepared, definately. A special plate just for Marinette. But not just for mainette, boring, normal. Could she actually feed her whole class lunch and get away with it? She chuckled at her uncertainty. She practically owned the school as far as she was aware. Now what if she brought in specially prepared dishes for everyone? Have her and Sabrina pass them out so its clear. Adrien! she mentally shouted. Of course! That’s the best cover possible. All of this is about adrien.
Now the biggest hurdle, as it stands in chloe’s plan, marinette gets the food, eats it, tastes the flavor and then... somehow, in some way.. great. Specially prepared dishes. Chloe bit her pen more, worried if the marks would be noticeable. Dishes that could have a note on the bottom? The chefs added them, who cares? Chloe heard herself rehearse to be ready as she kept writing out more questions. Why doesn’t Marinette scream herself white when she sees a big ‘Chloe Bourgeois’ on the note? Could a number be possible? It could make sense. Marinette would never call someone during school unless it was life or death. God, she was kind and considerate.. generous, caring and determined.
Chloe had to take a small hot shower break to scold herself in two ways at once. Clean and focused again on getting herself a real girlfriend safely, she sat back down. Working diligently, she finishes her steps and neatly folds it, ready to enact it monday. For now, she needs rest from a very long day.
