After some thorough investigation, yours truly found out the reason for the move to Brindleton after selling his home, cashing in his retirement and renting the old Wilson House. It seems as though the former Simmer League Baseball hero, Reese Hilliard has a problem, a problem no one knows about. Gambling. He has moved here to start over after clearing all his gambling debts. However, he needs to find work and attend gambler’s anonymous weekly. He truly wants to keep this from Shay, but knows it is going to come out. Probably sooner than later, Reese.

DARYL- “Listen, Jasper, we can’t do this anymore. Really, I am serious. It just doesn’t seem right.”

JASPER- “Dude, whatever you want. This is fine with me. I mean I would never turn you away! LOL”

DARYL- “It’s not that, Jas, I know, but it really just isn’t right, at least for me.”

JASPER- “Daryl, you are my best friend, and having sex or not having sex with you is not going to change that okay? But you may need to reconcile your feelings for Tat. That’s why you are feeling the way you are. I mean we both know you like him, just make that jump, man.”

DARYL- “Yeah, Gage kind of said the same thing, I just don’t want to ruin our friendship.”

JASPER- “I get it. At the same time, you may lose your chance to be happy. There are no guarantees. But we both know he is really got it for you.”

DARYL- “Thanks Jasper. You are the best.”

JASPER- “Always, D. And if you ever want to hook up, I am down for that too.”

DAVID- “So you were saying your mother thre a wrench into our plans? How’s that?”

ADRIEL- “Well, earlier this morning while I was in the shower, someone came here asking for me and mother answered the door.”

DAVID- “Okay, who was it? And how did that change your plans for tonight with me?” And you have known since this morning and didn’t text or call me to let me know? That is not like you Adriel. What is really going on?”

ADRIEL- “Unbeknownst to me, she invited them to have dinner here, with her and I tonight.”

As I was just getting to the part where that someone was Sebastian he comes to the entryway from the dining room...

SEBASTIAN- “Hey David! How have you been? So I hear you and Adriel are “talking”?

DAVID- “So I take it this is the someone your mother invited for dinner?”

ADRIEL- “Uh, yeah... Sorry”

DAVID- “Now I see why this kind of threw a wrench into our plans. I will let you go and work this wrench out, Adriel. Call me.”

ADRIEL- “No, please don’t go, not yet, I can explain.”
