hi so i just realized that the guardians husband magrius is literally just dr. henry jekyll. like almost exactly. it’s just more magic-y and less science-y
- man is well known in his community
- has a happy life, and if set for a prosperous love life as well
- urge for something else that he can’t quite explain
- creates potion to alter his appearance
- becomes a evil version of himself when like this
- eventually loses control and starts becoming ‘hyde’ involuntary, even without drinking the potion
- starts to hate and regret his choices
- dies, traumatizing his loved ones in the process
the guardian was married to jekyll and hyde yo.
