I'd like to call this work, The gang returns from the Horrific Fantasy.
From the mind of @fantasyandromancelover on her work A Horrific Fantasy, which is a Coraline Au for Hazbin Hotel, but here a whole lot of people got mixed with the posibility of being trapped by the "Other Mother", who is in this fanfic a witch named Levana.
This one was tecnically a Charlastor fanfic, but I went for the reunion of the main families. Also, since Alastor made a bit of a little later dramatic entrance (and I couldn't figure out a way to design him and the father he has in this Au, and I found that with them the picture might have looked a little too crowed?).
How Alastor took Nifty under his wing (probably):
Alastor (cornering Nifty and his former boyfried-boss, adressing said guy): first, I'm going to take the lovable tiny thing to raise her to be a strong and capable woman, and then (dark chuckle) I'm going to eat you.
Former boyfriend-boss: (desperate sounds)
Nifty: uh~ a bad boy!
Enjoy with your favourite pastry! I'm going for one with apple that is like a quite thick biscuit. And remember to make the necessary changes in case of allergies.
Also, this time I tried to do something a little more simple on the amount of ingredients, so the different flavours on this would stand out more in case I do it on the cold version (which might be mandatory considering the heat coming to us all).
I.M.P. dealing with Stolitz having sexual tension at the job like:
Moxxie: so you two are completely back together, your highness?
Stolas: so you noticed?
Moxxie: yeah, everyone noticed. A couple of clients who died when caught cheating and wouldn't stop it much in here either asked me if you could cool it.
A little analysis about the Brimmed Caps on Witch Hat Atelier
I have to say, I was very confused all the time with what those guys were doing with Coco all throughout the first season.
Or rather, how they were doing it.
SPOILERS AHEAD.
Here's the thing that bothered me: until on the Dragon Incident chapters, I was kind of sure those guys set some sort of trap to Coco or through her, instead of trying to turn her into some definitive Brimmed Cap Witch or whatever they want to turn her into.
The reason I thought that was because of all the things related to the Book and "wand" that Brimmed Cap gave her (also the ink bottle incident, but that was basically an extention of the same tactic).
According to Coco's memories, here's what happened:
A wild Brimmed Cap appears and asks Coco, much younger then, if she wants to buy an illustrated book of magic.
Said Brimmed Cap tells her about magic with amusing tricks, so she falls in love with magic.
They succesfully sell the book, with a magic wand as bonus gift.
.................... and that is it.
What bugs me about this meeting is the whole illustrated book thing.
This is nothing but illustrations with what resulted to be magic circles for her to copy.
Just that. And the guy, according to Coco and what she recalls, gave ABSOLUTELY ZERO CLUE about how to use all those materials. Not even a single criptic phrases that led her to think there was some riddle or anything hidden to look into.
And this bothers me a lot, because, Coco was supposed to figure out with only that not only how to draw magic, but that magic is drawn in the first place!? She was about 6 or 7, and they expected her to figure out what the heck that was.
This is how she acted when she got the wand at first:
And let's be honest, how does anyone expect her to think of everything else if she had no clue?
She only ever figured out what to do because Qifrey appeared! Without that, she would have most likely never had figured it out.
BUT, let's say she could have inspected the "wand" closely and noticed the ink (which I really doubt), and then somehow decided to use that very ink to trace precisely the patterns on the book.
Now we have another whole problem about how the whole plan was drafted.
Let's recall what spells were on that book, and she was going to use WITHOUT NO SUPERVISION.
There was the sparkly spell, then some other apparently quite simple and harmless spells, but also FIRE AND....
Let's imagine Qifrey hadn't been there. I think it's quite clear what would have happened.
Or there's the unlikely variable she survived that, but had she managed to dodge all that growing crystal, the Knights Moralis would have found her and erased her memories on the spot and she might had been dropped on a orphanage.
Considering the Brimmed Cap didn't seem to pay attention to her in any way until she completed her first exam, I don't think they considerated they had to supervise how the book thing was going in any way.
Truth be told, the whole thing with these books would have worked better as time bombs, as anyone who was given this book and simply traced or copied the pattern on the dragon page would have found their death or mind erasing.
Which is why I thought this was an attack to the Pointed Hats until the Dragon mini-arc. I would have made sense: people copying spells with no idea what they were and becoming incident all around the world? That would have been quite a fine way to do terrorism for the stablished witches.
But then again, the Dragon thing happened.
This guy literally said that they were laying tests for her to learn with those two things. As if they thought she performed any spell on the Giant Bed for a Dragon Plan.
I also heard an analysis that said the petrification spell was meant to be used on the dragon. Again, how was she supposed to figure out that?! It even adds to the confussion on how does this guy even think that can be considerated learning for her as she barely escaped with her life each time THANKS TO THE FACT SHE WAS WITH NORMAL WITCHES TO HELP!!!!
And even with how it can't be considerated she passed that test, this guy even keeps going and gives her......
... another close call with an ink that does way too powerful spells.
I mean, did this masked freak even thought no one was going to notice or not going to act?! Of course someone was going to notice and then confiscate that vial inmidiately!
If you really mean for her to study forbidden magic, then stop traumatizing Coco with it! Or get her arrested. Or KILLED.
I have only two possible explanations:
One: That Brimmed Cap is the Joker of the group so he doesn't put his heart into teaching and more into doing crimes through an innocent child.
Two: THE BRIMMED CAP REALLY SUCKS AT TEACHING.
..... there's a chance it's both.
I mean, the Brimmed Cap with no body did a more solid plan to force Coco to study forbidden magic in their first try:
It is an horrible plan in moral level, but it's more effective.
I guess the reason why they are so obssessed with Coco is because every single other try they performed failed with a crystalized child and whole house or a forgotten book.
The MoTH Suicide Squad meeting talks part ?:
Mirren: so you'll never set foot in Mana City again, I assume.
Zed: no. Unless I'm going to see a wing-ball game with a crowd I can blend in... or maybe if I had to investigate something... or, in a extreme case, with very bad luck, disposal of a body.
Mirren: (light laugh at the joke)
Kindra/Darling: Zed, if you murder me and bury me in Mana City, I don't care whatever my family has told you or threaten you with, I will haunt you forever.
Mirren: what if he murders you and buries you somewhere else?
Zed: yeah, what if it's in another place?
Kindra/Darling: meh, then I would leave you alone. I'm sure you would have your reasons.
I made this blend with the thought of making something that would suit a iced tea (basically, a concentrated infusion mixed with cold limonade and ice).
I am aware there are no sunflowers or even marigold in the blend here, but I still think the gif I made suits this edition of the summer tea.
Enjoy either cold or with some good biscuits! And remember to make any changes that must be done in case of allergies (or pick another blend entirely, I shared this just for the sake of it).
How the fight between Guinevere and Sir Arthur really went:
Sir Arthur: (solemn knight-like voice) all that effort, and yet, somehow, you still couldn't-
Guinevere: (stabs him with with a scarp of metal with an enraged roar)
Sir Arthur: (bewildered and in pain) aaauhg! ouch!what- what the hell was that?!
Guinevere: that is called a metal toothpick for you, bitch!
Sir Arthur: a tooth- a toothpick?! (moans of pain) how did you stabbed me so badly with it?!
Guinevere: I have a lot of pent up trauma.
Sir Arthur: that doesn't make any sense- YOU'RE TINY COMPARED TO ME! (more pain sounds) Oh, my god, I'm bleeding! I'm a robot with armor and I'm bleeding! Oh, my good lord, what the hell is wrong with you?!
Guinevere: A LOT!!!! (proceeds to stab him more and steal his sword to kill him)
Feel free to do any necessary changes! Be blessed or get blessed for this spring festivity because I'm definitely using this to ground myself on the wealth spell I have planned.
