my friend and I have this ongoing semi-headcanon joke that Joyce was this mega-partygirl back in the day, and parenting just doesn’t come naturally to her, and she kind of (KIND OF) blames Buffy for taking away her glory days. But mostly she’s this imperfect human being who’s trying to make the most of it, and as much shade as I throw on her I CAN’T HATE HER but like....joyce get your shit together please
