Happy Birthday Week Beau! This seemed like it needed to be re-shared... As I looked for a picture from Beau's birthday last year & found cat shirt selfies I took while he was still in bandages, I realized he was fresh out of surgery this time last year! So I went to look for other pictures of good times... As I searched I noticed how often Beau is looking to someone else in a picture... Then how in others he looks the camera dead-on as if staring it down... Both equally reflect who Beau is & qualities I appreciate. Someone rich in a generous heart, deferring & often looking to others, when the truth is so many of us have looked up to him. Someone who actually has a brave confidence I had always hoped to see in him and barely mimicked a few times in life myself... Such an ability to make people laugh, make friends out of a room full of people, to do what he sets out to, to express what he hears in his head & heart without fear whether in melody or straight forwardness. Beau, I'm thankful you are my brother out of all the people, we were perfectly picked as siblings, as challengers. Thanks for all the years you've done what I've said and fought me, and figured out how to do what I asked, from those first 5 years onward... And into the world of music, where I tell you what I hear and you play it or you tell me what it needs to sound like. Thanks for your patience with me not having quite the musical genius you do, I always try to keep up, just like I used to try to make you keep up with me. Thanks for being the first little brother I had (baby Glen) and for the great years & the hard times we have got thru together. We will always be on the same team. I am glad to be just one of so many to know you & love you.
