Nyango Star (にゃんごすたー) joined his musical gotōchi chara counterparts GCB47 and Akkuma for the first time, last weekend (2017.03.05) at New Side Beach in Yokohama. No videos online, because it looks like Rapiit are making more DVDs of these concerts.
Also present were Kōta (こーた), Funagorō (ふなごろー), Takata no Yume-chan (たかたのゆめちゃん) and Kappa no Kotarō (カッパのコタロウ).

GCB47 playing “Last Christmas” (in English and Japanese) at the Santa Sugamon and Friends (サンタすがもんと仲間達) event in 2014. This Christmas-themed event is held every year in December in Sugamon’s home of Sugamo, a neighbourhood in Toshima, Tokyo - he’s the duck with the tambourine. Maybe not their best performance, but I think it was their first time playing that song...
The full band weren’t there this year, only Yohsuke Ishida, Spanky and Gin-chan (relegated to melodica), but they also played “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)”:

It seems Yohsuke Ishida will be going in for surgery to remove a vocal cord polyp in a few weeks time, so he will be out of action for a while after his last scheduled performance on the 18th December. Hopefully he’ll be back some time early next year.
