The green iguana is endangered in many South American countries, some of which have created laws to protect the species, but they are far from endangerment in Puerto Rico. These beautiful creatures are an invasive species to the island and almost outnumber the islanders themselves. I took this picture in Puerto Rico, balancing on a rock wall with four other iguanas watching my every move. While the islanders believe that the iguana is a nuisance, it's impossible not to be captivated by the beauty and intricacy of these calm and regal reptiles. They serve as a humble reminder that every part of this world was carefully crafted and wonderfully made by a Creator who cares about everything on this earth and beyond. #GCCreationRestored
