ashtonryder posted a public instagram story. june 6th 2026: picked him up, getting ready for carroll pride.

fit check for ashton, he wore his latest kings pride jersey, like every other year, not really having anything else that match the parade vibes, he had some hockey pride bracelets given to him by fans recently after the press conference in la. aggie will most likely paint him up anyways when they get there and glitter will surely find its way onto skin. but the best thing he had on him was march by his side, the only beautiful thing that makes ashton look less boring. ash spent the parade having a picnic with march and their friends to watch the parade, an open invitation for anyone to join them on the mat, hanging out a lil bit around pride day and then cozying up at home with march by the evening. @heyyomarch @aggierobshaw

after carroll's pride, ashton also accepted the la kings invite for their pride community event and la pride parade in downtown la, before disappearing back into his privacy for the summer, travelling around for a lil bit in tennessee and the rest in the peace in carroll.

St. John Episcopal Church; pride month

All are welcome at St. John! Father Ezra Waldegrave is offering vow renewals and wedding ceremonies for anyone and everyone. No need to set up a date in advance!

The church is open every week day at noon for a free hot meal. Everyone is welcome at the table, no questions asked.

If you see Father Ezra at pride, go up and talk to him. He's so excited to share this celebration with you!

Carroll Pride update post

Carroll's Pride Day celebrations include:

Parade starting at 10am, see previous post for route map

Most Mainstreet Businesses giving out samples/swag outside their doors along the route and/or discounted products and services.

Open drinks permitted along closed off parade route, main street cafes and restaurants have make shift patios set up with chairs and tables taking up the sidewalk as the street is foot traffic only.

Bandstand set up in the very middle of main street offering music and open mic after the parade.

Bonfires set up along the public beach, to be lit by volunteers come dusk.

Half priced admission to Speedsters

Pier lined with food trucks

Fireworks at 11 set off in the town hall parking lot (visible from most neighborhoods)

Donation box for end of season fireworks show (annual and traditionally spectacular show at the close of tourist season.)

Carroll County Pride Celebration

Welcome to not only the big opening of tourist season, but Carroll County's own Pride Celebration! Set on Saturday, June 6th, the parade starts at 10am going first down Mainstreet from Town Hall, down to the pier and then back up Round About Road, around Campus Crescent and then down young street back to Town Hall. The parade route WILL be blocked off including Campus Crescent. Summerside Business district will be accessible to local traffic and by foot only. Businesses will switch to extended summer hours, and Carroll is filling up fast with summer residents and tourists, effectively doubling our small town's population. Even the campgrounds spotted around the county, Carroll's bed and breakfasts and airbnbs, the motel and the Fairweather are booked full. Below you'll find a map of the parade route.

This will be a casual event. There will be no pausing of threads, etc, but feel free to mention it in threads, have characters attend etc. The parade and kick off of the official tourist season will start June 6th ic and ooc, but Carroll is already starting to swell in numbers as the summer people start trickling in.

Rainbow and individual representation flags are being hung all over town and strung all along Main Street. Carroll takes great pride in it's diversity and is excited every year to express it.
