Y’all I missed you and I’m gonna do my bestest! To answer those asks but also just to be around in general. Goin off the radar for almost a year wasn’t really the plan... but ah well. I’m doin better.

The number of asks is actually really intimidating tho so I’mma just... close that... until it is manageable... but hey, messenger is always a thing. Love you guys!

Um. My grandma died.

The funeral is tomorrow. I’m trying to distract myself, so... I dunno. Here I am I guess.

Other things that happened recently:

I turned 24. I joined a boxing class. I’m growing cat grass and some herbs. Still haven’t talked to people I need to, but I dunno what to say.

I guess I’ll start uploading the stuff I’ve already worked on? Why not.

Well...

Jeez, this is hard to say! But I’ll do my best.

I’ve been pretty absent online as a whole, honestly. For weeks I’ve just been scrolling through tumblr on my phone.

I don’t know if I have the words to express it, but I was in a pretty dark place for a while. I was lonely, even if I interacted with people. All the stuff that was fun for me before just didn’t appeal for the longest time. I started avoiding everyone, friends, family, etc. I started getting cynical and guilty and I felt very very fake? I didn’t feel like I was *me* anymore.

I stopped drawing, pretty much. I didn’t like anything I made and I didn’t know how to answer asks in the same happy way I used to. I didn’t want anybody to find out how messed up I was, and I was terrified that it would show in my responses.  

I got tired of my behavior, though. I realized how badly I was starting to treat myself, and I wanted to fix it. I’ve started going to the gym, taking vitamins, interacting with people more... it’s a process.

I’m slowly getting back into drawing, and I want to start talking with my online friends again. I really need to apologize to them.

I wanted to apologize to all of you guys, too. You’ve all been very supportive of me and I am really honored that you guys care enough to send asks, I’m really sorry that I’ve let them sit there for so long. 

I’ve started working through them, but so much has piled up that I think I’m going to wait until I’ve prepared about half before I post anything. I’ll spread them out and work on the rest so there’ll be a steady stream of answers, so stay tuned. 

I missed you guys. Sorry I was away for so long.

Got a new job, it’s kinda life consuming in a fulfilling way. Which of course means I hyperfocused on it instead of keeping up with anything outside of it, yeesh.

But I’m ok! And answers will happen again.. soon. Yeah.

I'm visiting my mom for a week and she made me akutaq and I haven't had her akutaq since before she got sick and had to move away and I am kinda being a big baby about it?? Like "no mom these are happy tears"
