2. Would you date an 18-year-old at the age you are now?
I’m 19, so it wouldn’t be too strange, but honestly I prefer dating guys who are older than me (not like by years and years, but just even a day, you know?
4. Would you ever smile at a stranger?
Part of the reason that I look like a spaz 24/7 is because I try to make it a point to smile whenever I can. Especially at strangers.
6. How do you look right now?
Probably frumpy with my hair frizzed out because of the rain and my horrible complexion and mascara smeared around my eyes because my make-up can’t stay in place. And I’m wearing my glasses, which probably makes me look like some super nerd who stays up all hours of the night obsessing over things. Which I do, but that is not the point. At least my necklace looks pretty.
8. How often do you listen to music?
A lot. Sometimes when I’m getting ready for bed, sometimes when I’m on Tumblr, and sometimes when I’m eating by myself in the cafeteria.
10. Do you think your life will change dramatically before 2014?
It’s interesting to think about. Perhaps. But really, in 2012 I graduated high school, went out to a college 800 miles away from home after not having gone anywhere for four years, saw my sister’s first heartbreak (and it was BAD), got into a long distance relationship (that has been going on for over six months, although the relationship has been going on almost a year now… and we’ve been going on dates for almost two years… O_O), and watched my brother get married. So 2013 has it’s work cut out for it. Oh wait, I’ll be an aunt in November. So… yes.
12. If the person you like says they like someone else, what would you say?
I’m actually really chill about this kind of thing because I honestly don’t understand why someone would like me in the first place. When a guy breaks up with me I’m just like, “Oh. It was nice while it lasted. I still like you a lot, but it’s fine. We’re good.” It’s kind of like the whole, “If you love him, let him go,” kind of thing. Except with liking normally.
14. Can you drive a stick shift?
I have never attempted to, but I would like to learn.
16. Are you going out of town soon?
Technically I’m already out of town? My permanent address is in Kansas City, which I’ll be returning to in a month. And then I’ll be staying on campgrounds almost all summer for work. Right now, though, I’m in Atlanta for school.
18. Have you ever liked someone you didn’t expect to?
I think so… I haven’t really thought about it before.
20. Name something you have to do tomorrow?
Go to class. And maybe look up the recipe for custard and get some ingredients. Josh, the person who introduced me to Doctor Who for which I will never forgive him, is having a Fish Fingers and Custard party on Saturday with a bunch of other Whovians because the anniversary of the Eleventh Doctor’s debut was apparently Wednesday. And since I’m always cooking in the dorm kitchen every Monday (I don’t even know why) he wants me to make the custard. He is such a hobo. But it’ll be fun. :P
22. Have you ever liked one of your best friends of the opposite sex?
His name was Barrett and it was the third grade… *sigh* I’m only half joking, actually, but yeah, I’ve had little crushes on guy friends before. Actually I’ve known one of my closest friends since kindergarten. He and I started out as boyfriend and girlfriend, but I had to break it off when he refused to stop following me on the playground. We stayed friends, though, and this past year I “Razzled” his car (basically I got a package of Razzles and spelled out “Happy B-Day” with them. Some glowsticks may have also been involved) with my sister. Ah, memories… wait, what was the question about again?
24. What are you sitting on right now?
My bed. It has a memory foam roll-out thing over the mattress that my parents bought which is simultaneously the best and worst idea for me. Best because it is soooo comfy, but worst because it’s already hard enough for me to get out of bed in the morning to begin with.
26. Have you ever wanted someone you couldn’t have?
Define “couldn’t have.” If you mean like forbidden love, then no. If you mean liked a guy that didn’t like you back, then I think once… and that was Barrett. I understood, he had a girlfriend. I moved on. :P
28. Do you get a lot of colds?
Actually I get fewer colds out here than I do in Missouri (I think I’ve only gotten one so far in Georgia), but in Missouri I get them ALL THE TIME. They’re caused by my allergies. It stinks.
30. Does anyone hate you?
I’d be surprised if no one did. Heck, I’m surprised when people tolerate me.
32. Do you like watching scary movies?
Yeah! There are very few that actually scare me, though. I remember when everyone was freaking out about Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Activity 2, and then my family decided to rent it to see what it was about. We watched the 2nd one first (because everyone said it was scary) and we were extremely bored. We fell asleep during the first one. All of us.
34. If you had to delete one year of your life completely, which would it be?
Oh gosh… I know there were bad years of my life, but even those helped shape how I view the world today. Giving up one year could change my life forever… If I deleted that year depression hit me really hard, I could be worse of today… Wait. I know. I can’t remember what year it was, but during the summer something happened to my sister and even now she has a lot of issues because of it, my whole family does really. I’d delete that year. I’m not really sure that one helped us grow at all. It just caused a lot of pain.
36. Is there anyone you can tell EVERYTHING to?
My sister Miranda, my friend Tara, and my boyfriend Preston. Miranda doesn’t always listen and she isn’t always supportive, but she knows I’m a basket case anyways. Tara is super patient and we know practically everything about each other. She knows my faults and I know hers and we don’t agree on everything, but we understand each other. And Preston… well, I keep being my most insane and idiotic and angsty and annoying and hopelessly romantic around him (and in the letters I send to him) and he still hasn’t dumped me yet, still says he loves me even, so he’s definitely earned my trust.
38. Do you think someone has feelings for you?
Yes. I don’t know why he does, but I trust him.
40. Did you have a good day yesterday?
I think so…. I really failed at eating food and that’s really all I can remember.
42. Is your life anything like it was two years ago?

44. What’s the best part about school?
Learning new things, connecting with people, and daydreaming in between the boring bits.
46. Do you ever pass notes to your friends in school?
Not anymore, but it was so much fun in middle school (I think that’s the closest I ever had to a rebellious phase). Can this be a thing again? I miss it.

I actually find my sister highly attractive.
