#GeekSession 001: Samsung Android phones... Why?
I'm just curious.. I see a lot of people switching to Samsung Android powered phones (galaxy, note, nexus, etc.) and I just want to understand why? I mean if you're switching from BlackBerry that's very understandable, I mean anything is better than RIM phones today.. I'm serious anything (LG, Nokia, etc). We know, BBm doesn't cut it anymore with Whatsapp and Kik messenger around.
But if you're switching from Apple's iPhone please tell me why. And I know what you Android readers are thinking right now, "Oh there goes another one of those Apple brainwashed dickheads". Although I AM pro Apple, I'm not blind to the fact that the Samsung Android phones have some attractive features like NFC , bigger screens, and Google's new Operating System, 'Ice Cream Sandwitch' is pretty cool (copycats but hey, I ain't hatin'). When I asked a few friends why the picked the Galaxy S III or the Note II, they start by simply answering "Uhm... 'Cause it's just better... Like the screen's way bigger and it's just better than the iPhone"... Cool story Bro.
If the bigger screen is the main reason why you switched, you might as well get a Samsung Nexus 7 or Nexus 10 tablet, even MORE screen for you :). It does have the same operating system and the NFC, so why not? I feel that you Android dudes are brainwashed (well we're ALL brainwashed actually).
Anyway I just want someone to explain why..
