Up at the lake...got surrounded by Canada geese so close they were walking on my towel. Grabbed iPhone to video them and the biggest, nastiest one bites my toe just off camera (where you hear the "sod off!") I hate these crap birds. They have really bad attitudes...are incredibly territorial...and bully each other mercilessly. Oh. And sh*t *everywhere*...to the point they post the "Swimmers Itch" advisory every year. Thoughts While Running 5/19 (10K Race)

These thoughts were while running my first 10K.

1.  I was kicking butt mile 1.

2.  I was getting my butt kicked mile 2 - 5.

3.  I delivered a little nudge on mile 6.

4.  I wonder how many people saw me pass them and went…”that guy’s beating me?!?!”

5.  Running uphill sucks.  

6.  I hate geese.
