If anyone wants to know, the dehydrated Nerf gelblasters and equivalent generics work out to a little under 200 per 1/4 teaspoon. I counted them individually with tweezers while I had some manual dexterity.
So now, if you have a gelblaster-type toy gun, like this:
you can load the dehydrated balls directly into the hopper and then just add water. Most hoppers start at about 800 count so, just under a teaspoon.
Also the generic ones work just fine in the Nerf ones so if you find, say, a discounted Nerf one at a garage sale or thrift shop because we're not supporting Hasbro directly in this house, because they use Pinkertons, you can use those. The measurement might be off, depending on brand, but I am Very Autistic and I am willing to count shit so if people want to send me various dehydrated gel blaster generics, I have a PO Box.
