I've been looking to buy a Fuse Gelnamel kit and am trying to do a bit of research on it before I purchase. Has anyone used it? Good or bad experience? Any feedback would be great!

The Laptop Manicure

Okay brace yourself. What you are looking at is effectively a new breed of nail care. This is the very first Gelnamel polish. An at home kit that is "gel-newbie friendly ". A little USB-charged, portable led lamp which allows you to do a gel manicure… anywhere, even from your laptop! It can even be adjusted to fit toes. 

One is … amused! Sensational Nail have created something of a dream here - goodbye £40 manicure, hello at home kit. Beebee is also amused...

What you need to know : 

* It's an all in one formula *no need for base or topcoat*

*  You need to buff your nails with the buffer provided and then swipe it clean with the nail cleanser provided. Paint a THIN layer of polish on a nail and then pop it in the led lamp - It takes 30 seconds to "led" each nail and afterwards you need to wipe it clean with the cleanser again

* There are 12 fantastic colours start off this range *including some gorgeous glittery shades*

* Anti chip technology means this will last longer than a normal polish

* To remove it - use 100% acetone and the gel polish removal kit and tool 

* It's available at Boots NOW 

The starter kit featured in the middle is £35. It comes with 1 gelnamel colour, a led lamp, nail wipes to clean the nails before using, a double sided nail buffer, manicure stick and instructions : 

Individual Polishes cost £15. 

It's advised not to use other nail gel polishes inside the led lamp as it has been specifically desighned for the Fuse Gelnamel formula. 

My Fave colour is the Pink "Na-No Way!" shade which I have used in the image below: 

In terms of painting my own nails I'm a little sloppy, so I did have my reservations about using a gel on myself. I imagined sealing my nails in with lumpy polish that would last for 2 weeks. I discovered that as long as you follow instructions and paint a THIN layer you'll be fine. I ended up doing two layers as I felt the pigment coverage was better with two coats :

If you're still not sure what to think,  I found this little video by you tuber Soguesswhat11, very helpful *note that she mentioned the polish doesn't look shiney - however once it sets it does go very shiny after a few minutes. Immediately after painting it goes duller and then becomes shiner *somehow* as time goes on so I would ignore that comment :
