Gem Comics in Elmhurst Illinois was one of my favorite places to check out when I went to school there. The store is run by a woman who is super friendly and always willing to help. She never minded when my friend and I just stopped by to the browse for a bit. Most importantly I never felt judged or awkward when in the store. They also hold games in the back of the shop, although I never went to any of those events. It’s an overall great college-town comic book shop that I could not recommend higher.
