My thoughts on what type of gem these creatures are:
Centipeetle - The emerald I think is a really good match. Before this, I’d only ever seen the traditional kind and the trapiche emerald that sort of look like snowflake, not rounded like that. But that type kinda looks like an eye, so it really fits.
Ice Monster - Aquamarine is the most suggest gem for the Ice Monster. But after seeing the blue topaz, I think that‘s the most accurate. (especially that one, considering that I think that it’s a raw stone, meaning that’s how it actually grows.)
Worm Monster - Coral could work, but I don’t know if it would be a gem, since it comes from a living creature. Andesine definitely looks like the closest one.
Gem Cave Creature - Either blue zircon or chrysocolla could work. It would depend on the opacity of the gem. That particular cut of zircon definitely looks the closest though.
Tardigrade Creature/Water Bear - Given that pink and lavender around the edge of the gem, winza sapphire looks really, really close. The closest, actually, given the fact that the color varies in the same gem. (I think winza sapphire my new favorite gem.)
The Slinker - I really want the slinker to be black opal, because I love that stone, but indicolite, which is a rare color of tourmaline, looks the closest. Also, Slinker is the only other oval gem beside Pearl. I don’t know if it means anything, but there is that.
So, to sum up:
Centipeetle - Trapiche Emerald
Ice Monster - Topaz
Worm Monster - Andesine
Gem Cave Creature - Zircon
Tardigrade Creature/Water Bear - Winza Sapphire
The Slinker - Indicolite
