Brando is a BASTARD. Like yes I think it’s horrible that his dads emotionally abusive and from what the show depicts it seems like Italy isn’t as...accepting? Idk. I’ve never been so I wouldn’t like know but that’s the tone the show gives off. That coupled with teenage years being shitty in the first place can’t be easy.
All of that being said-
He is a privileged white passing rich ass man. And it shows. He’s a vindictive asshole and I really hope he gets his because a redemption arch for him just isn’t realistic.
And that relationship? Totally toxic. But a storyline that I think is rooted in realism.
I hope Fabio spends sometime this season learning how to be independent and come into his own. Wether it’s Camilla or Damiano or guys- his storyline is never his own.
