I told myself I’d work on writing today, but have you considered:
What if I just knit all day again instead? 😅

Took my Lego League Archeology shawl with me to visit family. Made good progress on it, though not as much as I’d hoped.
Turns out reading charts and cabling is hard to do while chatting, so this became my “morning coffee” project.
I really liked being able to sit on the deck and exist, so we’re going to figure out how to make that happen in our yard on our deck/porch. Y’know, as we clean up the back yard.

I promised Kallen last night that there would be no more yarn purchases until the end of the year.
And then a dyer had the audacity to drop a 100-Acre Wood themed speckled yarn and mini-skein set.
Do you know how load bearing this franchise is to me? Did you know I played Eeyore in the community theater play (even though I really wanted to be Piglet for reasons that I don't remember and was so happy the girl playing him broke her arm?) Did you know that I have a WHOLE FUCKING COLLECTION of Eeyore shit (and was the inspiration for a nickname my mom still uses some days)?
WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS CRIME TO ME, yarn dyer??? Why must I suffer so??
But Gemma, you have other 100-Acre Woods yarns! YES I KNOW THAT'S NOT THE POINT here.

Pattern: Luminaria Shawl, Lindsey Fowler (Larkspur Knits) - Ravelry, Website
Yarn: - Old Tailored Suit (Dark Blue) - Onsie 115 (Orange Speckle)
Note: I am not naming this dyer, it was purchased before their politics became known to me and I no longer support them. In the interest of stash decrease though, I'm not purchasing new for this.

Hey Gemma! Pick up a new hobby, Gemma!
Beg your partner to print you a pin loom base, Gemma. (Bonus: he got his printer fixed. We think.)
Smack your thumb 17,000 times, Gemma!
It’ll be fun Gemma!
Alt: a black square pin loom with a row of tiny brad nails driven into it. A small hammer rests next to the loom on a ratty towel.
…I am not yet having fun, mysterious voice that begs me to do things.
No I didn’t bump a sweater up in my queue because the tonal yarn I chose was on sale. That’s wild and ridiculous.
….and it totally happened. 😅
(I’m actually hoping for a coupon to get the next order slightly discounted for the project I have partially wound up because it was a frogged project.)
Shuddup, we aren't talking about all the other WIPs I have stashed! Shhhhhhh.
Someone yell at me to finish my Barley hat; it's like 3 rows and really only needs a cable change so I have room to navigate the stitches more easily with a magic loop.
I'm not swapping to DPN's because they intimidate me a bit for this. Maybe a different yarn.
