What is this?
I got this little gemstone in a pack but I have no idea what it is?
It's slightly opaque and really pale. It's kind of yellowish especially when you shine a light through it.

Do you know any gems that are blue and could control rocks for a secondary ability? Thanks!
Most blue gems are associated with water, but here’s a few I found that are associated with earthy personality traits or do have an association with earth.
Callaghanite is a rare crystal that encourages rational thinking, removes obstacles from your way, and encourages confidence and growth of strength in your character.
Halite encourages independent thought as well as initiative, and blue halite stimulates intuition. Additionally Halite is also known as rock salt, and that could help play into controlling rocks.
Hemimorphite is a protective stone that encourages inner strength, and can also encourage love and compassion. Some more traits that might be associated with a loving earth character.
Sodalite encourages self-discipline, efficiency, rational thought, and intuition. Definitely a gem with associations befitting for someone who controls rocks.
Turquoise is associated with the element of earth and can range from green to blue in color.
I hope these might work for you!

Any pearls?
Lots of Pearls!
Hey there!
There are four main kinds of Pearls: Akoya, Tahitian, Fresh Water and South Sea. You can read their differences here!
Now, if what you want to focus on are colors of Pearls... well, I’d say the list is endless! You can check quite a good variety of colors and shapes in this post, and there is even a kind of Opalized Pearl!
Hope this helps!

do you guys have any ideas of ice/snow power gems? i saw your power masterpost and thought this was really cool, so I thought to ask your input!
Hello there!
While I couldn’t find much about specifically ice related gemstones, I do have a few suggestions that could work!
Snowflake Obsidian, based on its name, for example. Other options could be water-related gemstones, such as Moonstone (White or Gray Moonstone would be perfect!), Sapphire, Selenite, Celestite or Blue Chalcedony! (x)
Mod Sapphire also compiled a really good list of gems related to winter months and areas that you should definitely check out!
Hope this helps!

Could you come up with a list of gems that have an animal in the name? Like cat’s eye and hawks eye
Heya!
If you check in the blog, we’ve actually done lists like that in the past! I really recommend checking this post by Mod Sapphire or this one I did sometime after.
Hope this helps!

What would be a good gem type for some one who is mothering and calm?
Hello there!
I’d say pink gems are just the kind you might be looking for! They’re, in general, known to promote love, self-worth, calm feelings, relaxation and protection from aggression. (x)
Being that said, I’d recommend Pink Maganocalcite, Pink Opal, Rose Quartz, Pink Sapphire, Rubellite, Rhodochrosite or Pink Fluorite!
Hope this helps!

hi, can you think of any blue/blue-ish gems that would have their homework occupation as a scientist/engineer?
Sure, here’s some suggestions:
Afghanite helps you collect your thoughts and assists in communication, which could be needed in a scientific or engineering team, and it’s even electric blue.
Apatite, which encourages personal power to achieve goals and stimulates intellect.
Blue Amber helps intellectual abilities, such as flexible thinking. Definitely abilities that are required for a scientist/engineer.
Carletonite - While I can’t find much metaphysical information on it, it is a really neat looking blue crystal. And it is a silicate mineral, so it has traces of silicon in it- which is used in alloys and electronics. This could play a bit into the Engineer role. Plus, it is also an electric blue.
Dumortierite improves patience and skills in mathematics, as well as other mental skills. Patience can be pretty important in a scientific role, and mathematics are often used frequently in an engineering job.
Tanzanite promotes strong self control and gives you high intellect and strategic thinking.
I hope this helps!

Are there any gems that include blue and red simultaneously? Or both blue and red as predominant colours?
Hello!
I actually answered a pretty similar question not too long ago.
But I believe a Red-Blue combination for a Bi-color Tourmaline or Azurite Cuprite (Bluebird) could work nicely!
Hope this helps!
