I suddenly remember the animate adventure when Miles talked about how creepy his dad is. Imagine once the gems were unfused, Miles' dad and Ryan actually get along and seem to be having a normal conversation until you actually hear what they were saying. It was decidedly the most disturbing conversation, and afterward, Kerry and Miles agree to never let them near eachother again.

Gem AU Fusion cuisine, but it's Kerry and Miles trying to get Miles' parents to approve of the friendship. Hilda acts like his mom and the others can't decide on who should be his dad (it really should have been just Ryan but the others decided that he was just too creepy) so all four fuse into that chaotic mess with eight arms. It ends like the episode, with the fusion chasing the two kids and taking them back. (when they scold Kerry, Mogar is the one to say "no dinner for 1000 years!")

A fusion of all four would be the ultimate dad. Like there was some concern that the fusion would be unstable, and it was, but whenever DF is in danger, and eight-armed monster appears and obliterates the threat. Also, Mad King's slight insanity + X-Ray's deadpan humor + Vav's odd thinking + Mogar's way of speaking = the flat out strangest Dad jokes to ever be spoken. DF loves it though because they look AWESOME.

So in Gem AU, we got Ryan the fusion gem, but with the new SU epsiode what if Smol angry Mogar gem with limb enhancers?
