What is , gemverse?

Gemverse is a game in progress based on Steven Universe. You play the game as a gem or a human being lead by a diamond or a crystal gem. You must traverse the universe fighting monsters while also discovering different aspects of the world around you. There will also be many other features that we will reveal in the future.

Hey, CaptainEverything here. I need to see Gem and Sara making Len breakfast for father's day. And of course Mick also gets the deluxe breakfast by two of his favorite people. Even though I fully believe Sara is probably inept at cooking, and the food is an odd mix of burnt and undercook. I just need the father's day fics with Gem. Badly.

Urgh, I’m so mad that I’m just getting this now, BUT here goes:

So Father’s Day is coming up and Mick has made plans to make himself scarce, cuz this is Len’s day and he doesn’t want to get in the way of anything. But then Gem, who is about five or six, comes up to him and asks if he’ll help her cook for Len on Father’s Day because “Mommy makes everything black or too gooey” and while Mick isn’t much better, at least he always cooks everything all the way through, unlike Sara who has a tendency of getting impatient and ending up with raw, slightly crispy food. So Mick caves, because of course he, he could never deny those blue eyes anything, no matter which Snart they were attached to. So Gem tells him to show up 10 on Sunday and he agrees, because when goddaughter tells you to show up, you show up.

So Sunday rolls around and Mick knocks on the door promptly at 10. Gem immediately opens the door and pulls Mick into the strangely dark house. She pulls him to the dining room, which is also really dark and tell him to stay right there, because she has to go make sure Daddy is still asleep, then they can start cooking. So Mick obediently stays where she left him, smiling slightly at the idiosyncrasies of five year olds.

Then all of a sudden all the lights in the house turn on, blinding Mick briefly. He blinks rapidly and as his sight clears, he sees that the dining room table is all decked out and two of the chairs, the ones on either side of Gem’s chair, are wrapped in streamers and covered in bows and have signs on the table in front of them. One reads “Daddy” and the other reads “God Daddy”, both written in very shaky crayon. And he looks up and Len is on the other side of the table, looking a little sleep rumble and blinking slowly, and Gem is holding his hand, and then they’re both beaming at him and Mick almost can’t breath, his chest is so tight, and Gem hauls Leonard over to the table and pushes him into the seat marked “Daddy” and then she bounces over to Mick and grabs his hand and she’s still grinning up at him and Mick has to blink rather rapidly as she pulls him over to the seat marked “God Daddy” and says “Sit!” in that voice just like her mother’s and he does and she looks at the pair of them and nods once in approval, then runs into the kitchen. And Mick staring really hard at the table, feeling overwhelmed and a little concerned, cuz this was supposed to be Leonard’s day, but when he looks up, Leonard is beaming at him, an almost exact copy of his daughter’s smile, and Mick refuses to cry, he doesn’t okay, there was just some dust in his eye, or glitter, because Gem seemed to have found Sara’s super secret stash of it (again), yeah it was glitter, shut up, Snart.

And then Gem comes trotting back into the dining room, holding very determinedly onto a plate of pancakes, and Sara follows her with two more big plates in her hands, and she’s grinning just like her daughter is, and she gives Len a kiss on the cheek as she passes him, then leans down and gives Mick one two as she’s setting the plates down, grinning at his surprised look. Gem proudly sets her plate of pancakes onto the  table as well, tho they are perched a little precariously until Leonard moves them back, then hops up into her chair and looks at Len and says “I love you, Daddy”, then looks at Mick and says “I love you, Micky” and both Mick and Len are blinking away tears and Len kisses Gem’s head while Mick gently squeezes her hand. And then of course she says “Pancakes!” and everyone laughs and Len starts to cut up her pancakes while Mick adds the syrup and Sara passes the butter and the pancakes are a little gooey in the middle and a little burnt on the outside, but Mick has never tasted anything better in his life and he fixes this moment in his memory, for when shit got tough and life decided to fuck him again, he’d always be able to remember Gem’s eyes as she told him she loved him and Sara beaming at them and Len reaching around behind Gem’s chair to give his shoulder a tight squeeze, his heart in his eyes for once as he looked at his best friend and godfather to his daughter and Mick knew that he would never forget that look, not until the day he died.

CaptainEverything here. Imagine the Baby Shower the women of the Arrowverse will throw for Sara when she's pregnant with Gem. Like Felicity and Lyla teaming up with the PalmerTech Lab to create the highestLike Military GradeBaby furniture. Thea and Lisa scouring stores for snarky onesies, Nyssa's present doubles as a stuffed animal and a weapon case so the little one will never not be protected. And maybe free sword lessons And Barry is there, because he's Barry. He's an honorary member to them

HI CE IT’S SO NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!!!!!!! <3 Also I am so sorry, Tumblr is a POS and didn’t even let me know about your Father’s Day message, so buckle up, because I’m answering all three!And oh boy, that baby shower would be something to see. Like first we have Laurel, who may have tried to liquefy Leonard’s brains when she first found out, but now she is 110% behind this and she is determined to be the Best Aunt Ever. And Laurel pulls out all the stops, she brings baby books and educational toys and story books and parenting books (she makes sure to hand these directly to Leonard. Leonard just smirks and pulls out the dog-eared, highlighted, underlined, and annotated copy he has in his jacket pocket) and also some stuffed animals, because I am a firm believer that Laurel was one of those people who slept with her childhood stuffed animal well into her 20s. And Sara is just like, “I really hope this kid gets Len’s brain, or else all these books are going to turn into drool covered chew toys” even tho Sara Lance is a fucking genius who piloted a TIME SHIP through the Time Stream BY HERSELF, like don’t even touch me about Sara’s relationship to her intelligence, I will cry.So then we have Lisa, other Aunt To Be who is just as in love with this baby as Laurel is and ALSO pulls out all the stops, because Lisa is Lisa and this woman comes in with just HEAPS of baby clothes, like Gem is going to have more clothes than Sara and Leonard combined, and just about every fucking shirt or onesie or dress has something snarky written on it, like “I get my charm from my daddy” or “I left the womb for THIS?” or “I may be small, but I am fierce” or Lisa’s personal favorite “My aunt is hotter than yours” (Laurel of course is like, oh gee thanks and grins at Lisa, who considers killing her, but decides that she really likes her instead and that they are now Friends). And Sara is just laughing and sending pictures of her favorites to Mick and studiously ignoring the fact that all of the clothes are obviously stolen, because it’s Lisa, of course they’re stolen.

I feel like Lyla gives Sara a handwritten book called “101 Ways To Raise Kids While Battling Evil” and it’s just full of helpful hints like “There’s always time for a diaper run during a covert op” or “Your crazy sleep schedule from vigilantism will actually be really helpful during the first couple of months. Also, cat naps are your friend”. She also gives Sara a military grade crib that is impervious to crushing or breaking and has built in motion detectors and proximity alerts, as well as legs that will shoot tranquilizer darts if the alarms go off.Thea is a little unsure of what to get, having little to no experience with babies, so she just buys a shit ton of toys, especially the ones she remembers having as a kid. She also buys a boat load of beanie babies, because they’re cute and adorable and Thea totally had a whole room full of them when she was a kid.

Felicity gives Sara the best freakin baby monitor system you will ever see, like it has various screens that can be set up in any room (one totally goes in Mick’s shop) that display the temperature and time and Gem’s basic vitals and it comes with a little tiny drone that totes hovers around Gem and tracks her and sends alerts to phones and computers if she goes outside a certain area.

And Nyssa gives Sara and Gem two things: the first is a medallion meant to be hung over the baby’s crib for blessing of healthy, safety, and a long life. The second is a tiny, dull sword that has a rounded tip. Sara tears up a little at the first one and kind of just shakes her head at the second one, but does so lovingly.And Barry is totally there, because Barry is 100% always invited to every girls night and he’s just one of the girls, no questions asked. And he gives Sara a blank piece of paper. Sara is confused, but then he says to write down/draw her ideal baby room. Sara slowly starts to grin and she does and then zip Barry’s gone and then zip he’s back again and Sara’s phone starts ringing and Len is on the other line asking why the hell he just walked into the spare office and stuck his hand in wet paint, also really Sara, blue and white stripes? A little cliche don’t you think?

So basically yes, Gem would be the best dressed, most well read, most protected baby ever and Sara would be a little overwhelmed by how much she loves all of these people, and how much they love her in return
