That is the official end of The Ivy Legacy, as we know it!

I’m working on rebooting The Ivys in a new way, and moving on from the legacy style I’ve been following with them for 2+ years. Following such a strict timeline has been really creatively stifling for me, and I want to play around more with flashbacks, and non linear plots, and give other characters more room to shine than just the usuals.
I’m currently working on building up the save and giving everyone makeovers, as when The Ivys return, it will be several years into the future. They will also be “rebranded” so to say, as “Like Ivy”, and the story will follow a format more similar to, say, a TV show, with ‘seasons’ and plots with hard endings.
Like Ivy will be new-reader friendly as well!!! Aka, if you haven’t read the entire thing, or haven’t read it all, or want to jump into something new, there will be no learning curve of who you need to know-- I plan to give context/background to the stuff that’s important.
I’ve had The Ivys for sooooo long, and over the years, my editing/writing/storytelling skills have changed sooo much, that I literally hate pointing people in the direction of Gen 1 lol. 🤷♀️ So this is like a new, fresh start for me, too!
I’m really excited for this change, and even though maybe it’ll be a subtle change for readers, it’ll be a big change for me, and how I write and work on this story. Big things are in store, my guys. 💕
