i'm rewatching the finale (for the nth time) and the ending to edgar's arc is just so Good??!! everything he says to jimmy, the way they wrote him describing new york ("full of triggers but i'm adapting" 💙), him knowing that leaving jimmy was an escape that ultimately he needed? Growth™

i think ytw is the first show that i have followed from the very beginning that has ended (ie not via cancellation), fully reached completion, and i am both so happy and proud that they were allowed to tell this story their way and bow out on a high, and so so sad that such a huge part of my life will no longer be there.

aside from this year, the end of the summer had come to mean new ytw. i have rewatched every single year before a new season premiere. hell i watched the 1st season in one day multiple times before it was even back for a second season. these characters, these fucked up masterpieces to be poetic about it, have come to mean so much to me, and i am just going to miss them so very much.
