It's Christmas, and Ilaria is pregnant <3

Ilaria begins to establish herself in the business world, Lidia and Gavin work as writers and journalists.

Ilaria moves into Villa Ophelia, Alessandro's home. The house is empty because her parents have died, and her sister Martina lives elsewhere with her husband. They have the house all to themselves.

One afternoon in Copperdale, Ilaria runs into an old friend, Alessandro, Dafne's brother. The two reminisce about their time together and end up in bed… Ilaria decides to leave Sydney for good, having not seen her for five months.

After a while, Alessandro decided to move in with Ilaria so she wouldn't be alone. Ilaria believed she'd found the perfect man; she no longer had to be the one to make relationships work.

Ilaria starts working for a marketing firm while simultaneously studying for college. She leaves home to move to Copperdale. She tries to come to terms with being away from home and feeling lonely. Dafne visits her often, but Sydney doesn't: she's always the one who reaches out to him and suggests they get together. One evening, she vents to Dafne, saying she can't handle the relationship alone anymore.
