Feminism
“Feminism: The political, economical, and social equality of the sexes.”
AKA
“Your gender should not define your capability to be a productive employer, a strong leader, a nurturing caregiver, or anything else you are good at and want to be.”
Feminism is NOT: “The systematic plan for the creation of women overlords that intends to make men our feeble, quivering slaves.”
that is actually called misandry.
Nor is it:
“An excuse to shame other men/women for not sharing my own personal beliefs.”
or
“Reasons why I need to get angry and indignant at any man who is genuinely polite to myself and other women.”
or
“The provided excuse to blame all the negative things in my life on the ‘Patriarchy’ and guilt society into giving me an advantage to make up for past actual or perceived oppression.”
that is actually called being a lazy, rude, intolerant, and insufferable human being.
Don’t misuse the title of feminist if you’re not going to act like a decent person with it. It makes it that much harder for those of us who are feminists and want to make actual progress with changing certain things for the better. Thanks.
