Both men and women are concerned with inequality, and it has a significant effect on their lives. We, the Filipinos, are aware of and have seen this type of problem, and the fact is that we face it on a daily basis. Here I have been looking into gender bias’ within the English language and how certain words and even phrases that have negative connotations towards women actually have positive connotations when referring to the opposite sex. i have listed some examples of these words.

I believe that due to the bias within our language we can not deter away from this issue until our language is neutralised to both genders.
