I've heard tell that you have genderfluid!jim kirk headcanons and let me tell u.... im interested in hearing them... (if thats okay with u) (because like same and I want to hear ur opinions)

HOLY SHIT YES i personally headcanon jim as genderfluid

i imagine that they’re cool with people referring to him with either male, female, or non gender-specific pronouns (because they honestly cant expect everyone to know their PREFERRED pronouns at that very moment)

they wear the uniform with pants sometimes, they wear the uniform with the skirt sometimes, and they dont think twice about it

some days they choose to wear make-up, (spock and uhura have the best stuff) and some days they wear none at all

and theyre always ready to answer any questions people might have

Headcanon: Genderfluid Jim a little nervous about telling Bones when they first meet. So the first day Jim feels a little more like Jamie around Bones she wears her necklace that displays the pronoun she identifies with that day and waits for Bones to ask about it.

Except he doesn’t. He does however take one glance at the necklace and asks how his favorite girl is feeling that day. (Turns out his best friend in med school had the same thing on a bracelet.)

Jim can’t remember ever grinning so hard.

Imagine genderfluid!jim going back and forth over keeping long hair or cutting it super short and they can't decide

imagine in the end jim just buys a bunch of wigs of all different lengths so they can always have their look match how they feel

okay but give me ALLLL of your genderfluid Jim headcanons give me Jim not knowing how to handle wanting to wear dresses or makeup give me Jim being terrified that Bones or Spock will find out give me Jim crying a lot because he wants to be himself but he doesn't want to lose the only friends he's ever had give me Jim finding out that they still love them and they won't leave them and just gIVE ME THAT

imagine the three of them trying to figure it out and spocks the only one who can do it but even he still looks wobbly and theyre all laughing and cheering as jim finally gets it and jims never felt happier
