When I hear a Vicar say “Our Parent” instead of ‘father’.
A pet peeve of mine is when people call Etihw a 'she'
THEY are not a 'she'. THEY are not a 'he'. They are GOD; and thus should be respected as the awesome, genderless, divine being that they are.
just keep that in mind please, Thank you
I have an idea for a spiritual practice!
God doesn’t have a gender. Since we have called God a “He” for so long, let’s change it up! The next time you find yourself reading Scripture or singing a hymn, change the male pronouns for God with female pronouns or gender neutral pronouns.
It is a truly beautiful thing to change the way you think of God. God is not a man. God is not a woman. Isn’t the Imago Dei in all of us?
