❝ like . . . talking to someone . ❞ brows furrow in contemplation , teeth take hold of her lower lip and chews carefully . what was a heart to heart , if not a genuine conversation ? one in which you can feel completely comfortable in letting out your feelings , in maybe telling someone your deepest , darkest thoughts in confidence . yes , a heart to heart was a genuine conversation with a person that you trusted , that would take your secrets to the grave visa versa . ❝ really talking to someone . being able to tell them anything and everything on your mind without fear of judgement or . . . anything . except maybe some reassurance , or agreement , it all depends on what you talk about . like swapping secrets , you trust me with your heart and i trust you with mine , that kinda thing . ❞ breath held finally let out of stressed lungs , letha takes a few more in and out before gaze turns to elanor , pleading silently she understand her nearly incoherent ramblings . eyes squeeze shut for a moment , mouth corner turning up in a small smile before sheepishly peeking one lid open . ❝ am i making any sense here ? ❞
