Partial Wolfpack 5 and Friendly Freddy saved!
Be prepared for a long post because finally after years of mystery! The Gaslight Village “WP5″ has been saved! and my proof is right here! Also I apologise for my bad formatting of this post, I’m not good at Tumblr, however there is a Twitter version of this post which may be more understandable. Gaslight Village had a show consisting of Wolfman, Fats and Friendly Freddy. some of Creative Engineering Inc’s very early characters!

( And how they are now, even I a animatronic lover kinda is freaked out by most of their appearances) Now for some explanation, these characters are very important as they are stepping stones to the development of the Rock-Afire Explosion, one of the most important animatronic shows ever next to some of Disneys creations. I should also note that according to the original Instagram post and the way its written the owner of these bots loves them deeply, and is simply getting them restored, NOT selling them, however this might not be true as this is what I interpret from the post. Infact here is a image of Rolfe and his predecessor the Wolfman right next to each other!
And it appears this Wolfman is actually the same as in this image which has been floating around the internet for ages.
Infact I remember when the Gaslight Village image appeared, people connected the two right off of the tuxedo and friendly freddy cosmetics alone! There is also this image, which may be of the fats this show used still in production!
However I don’t have any evidence to back this claim up, I’m just assuming off what I see, its also the only CEI bot I’ve seen with a front face skull. Sadly there are no images of this Friendly Freddy aside from the Gaslight Parade one, however, we do have 70′s promotional images and images from a Ebay listing done in the early 2000′s.
In a Premium Subscription Service video from Aaron Fechter (The owner of CEI) he states that Freddy here used car motors for a large majority of his movements, where as Wolfman and Fats use mainly Pneumatic cylinders to move (Air controlled piston), in that same video he also states that the first Friendly Freddy was at a theme park called Magic World. Footage is also shown (Which I can’t share for legal reasons) of Freddy moving, he is essentially a very basic stiff moving Beach Bear
After around a year of operation however he was sent back and two extra characters were built to go along with him, aswell as Freddy getting a slight cosmetic change, thus forming:
“The Confederate Critter Band”! That surely didn’t age well didn’t it... either way this show was another huge stride as it introduced multi character controlling to shows for the company, but how was Freddy transformed?
Meet General Cornelius Bearpatch, this bear is simply the same character but with new clothing and some fur added to the face in a bear or moustache like fashion to give him a older look.
There’s also Colonel Stonewall J.Fox, who is important since his mask became the basis for the Wolfman and eventually Rolfe Dewolfe. And now this super long history post can end, the reason why I added so many details here is because researching these things is very hard, while we have some basic resources online in the form of websites and wikis, these mostly only detail basic things, mainly important details are shared on Instagram or Discord, and these won’t be too easy to find in many ways, so I hope everyone enjoyed my info dump.
