Concepts like ‘oppression’ and ‘privilege’ get thrown around a lot here and most people don’t ever seem to stop and think about what they actually mean in a concrete way. It’s always very abstract, like they’re values in a mathematical equation meant to determine some kind of instrinsic worth.
