This is one of the best Hux scenes I've ever had the pleasure to read. And it's the starting point of a Hux x Cardinal fic I'm writing.

Honestly, I kinda forgot how utterly devoted to Brendol Hux Cardinal is... and to write a fic from his POV in which he confronts how different both he and Armitage feel about Brendol is such a delight... and a challenge. Because it's been a while since I last wrote with Hux and even though he's a bastard like Krennic and writing bastards is sorta my specialty, Hux and Krennic are very different kind of bastards.

At least I didn't lose my hand at writing smut with Hux, so that's gotta count for something, right?

First time trying a color of line-art that isn't black, and tbh I do not think you can tell. I used a dark reddish color and I think it adds a softness to the art that the black was missing.

I've been using the SU-Cream pencil on the csp store (it's free) for my line-art and I really like the texture it adds. I just have the brush set to around 70% opacity to show more of the texture.

Also, I've been trying to tone down the amount of detail with my shading because I felt it was too distracting (and took forever to finish). I've also been easing up on the amount of detail in total. I kept the face detailed, but kept other parts of his body fairly simple so it's not too overwhelming.

Also, also, does everyone else see my art as low quality? Im not sure if it's just on my end, but tumblr absolutely destroys the quality of any image I post no matter the canvas size. :')
