So I did It

I dumped all my cc, my old sims, and have been playing mostly cc free for about a week now.

My goal is to actually play the game, instead of focusing on story.

I do plan to introduce my characters, (because why else have a simblr) and provide some basic info, but nothing too deep.

Anyways I’m attempting my first ever legacy, and some pictures will soon follow this post.

I’m going to toss all my cc, and sims and start from scratch if I do start to play again.

I want to see what the game is like without all of that, and then if I don’t like it I will gradually add cc as needed.

I’m pretty sure I’m straining to care about the sims 4. Honestly, I don’t have as much enthusiasm for sims 4 cc that I used to either, and just realize I turn my game play into stories, or sharing screen shots because the game itself isn’t really that satisfying for me.

I don’t know what that means right now. But I do think there is something seriously wrong when you write stories more than you actually play, and you buy content based on whether or not it would fill out your stories more than whether or not they actually interest you.

Apologies

I don’t know if this bothered anyone else, but when I saw it again it bothered me.

I didn’t noticed that one of the posts I reblogged from Marigold (this isn’t a call out so I’m not tagging them) featured one of Ebonix’s braided hairs on an ultra light East Asian or White sim.

Although I don’t know if she would find this offensive, it’s not just white people who appropriate black styles, get praise for them, while we loose jobs wearing our hair how it grows naturally or using protective styles that prevent breakage and other kinds of damage to our textures.

I have removed the post from my blog. And would like to apologize to anyone who saw that post here and was harmed by it.
