They match each other's energy on so many levels, and even their differences compliment each other. Kurona is everything Hiori isn't, stable, free, (presumably) mentally well (tbc) and upfront with what he wants. Hiori is giving, attentive and far too smart for his own good. I think being with someone like Kurona would be really good for Hiori after spending his entire life with people who offer affection on a conditional basis. Not that Kurona would fix him, rather that Kurona could create a safe environment in which he could work on himself.
